Hollywood is packed with its share of blended families but few, if any, are quite like Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa ‘s.

During a recent interview on The Ellen Show , Jason revealed that the list of daily physical activities around their household includes rock-climbing, skateboarding (with ramps!) as well as tomahawk throwing!
2. They actually didn’t get legally married until 2017!
Lisa and Jason have been tied to one another since 2005. They never got married because quite frankly they didn’t see a need to at the time.
“You know what, I’ve been married to my wife for 12 years,” Jason said. “It’s just a gathering of our families and celebrating our love.”
3. Jason is actually best friends with Lisa’s rockstar ex-husband.
You may not have known that Lisa was married once before. She and legendary rockstar Lenny Kravitz tied the knot back in the late ’80s and divorced in 1993.
Lisa and Lenny are the parents of Zoë Kravitz!
The bromance between Jason and Lenny has seriously helped to strengthen the bond of their blended family.
Lenny captioned the photo “Happy birthday brother . Love and respect always. Ohana ‘til the end.”

While the pair were walking the red carpet, a reporter somewhat ignorantly asked Jason to perform a “Haka move.”

Jason says that their meeting was a matter of him being in the right place at the right time:
“I actually had dreaded my hair for her. I had dreadlocks , she had dreadlocks. I literally turned around and I see her and she goes, ‘I’m Lisa.'”
7. Jason and Lisa have incredible on-screen chemistry as well!
Jason wrote, directed, and starred in a passion project called Road to Paloma . He cast Lisa to be his love interest in the film.
“In this business, we have to travel so far away from our families. We have two children , so if we can work together, that’s awesome,” Jason said.

“Ever since I was like, 8-years-old and I saw her on the TV, I was like, ‘Mommy, I want that one,’” Momoa revealed to James Corden .
