8 Facts That Are Strange And Weird But Still Totally True

Diply 16 Feb 2018

I get really nervous around people, especially at parties. The energy is super fun, yeah, but also really intense. I like to go into these sorts of situations with a game plan of what I'm going to talk about so no one catches me off guard.

Naturally, these almost never work because I completely draw blanks when someone asks me my name, so forget about carrying on a conversation, you know? Well, lately my thing has been just shouting random facts at people to distract them from my awkwardness. So far, it's going pretty well. It's also making me want to read more and do research on stuff so I can acquire more facts.

Anyway, I've found that the weirder the fact, the more into the conversation the person ends up becoming and the way cooler I seem at the end of the day. I recently made a really good friend because I knew a lot of things about typewriters and he loved typewriters! So that was pretty neat and super exciting.

So, just goes to show you that maybe the more you know, the more you can pretend to be interesting at parties. Let's take a look at some bite-sized facts that are fun and interesting.

It is an infuriating fact, but it also isn't wrong. That doesn't stop me from hating it so much.
