Twitter Is Losing Its Freaking Mind Over The Newest Character In 'Deadpool 2'

Diply 20 Apr 2018

We all continue to get amped up for Deadpool 2 to drop already.

In the meantime, we've been blessed with the latest trailer that not only has us super excited but also extremely interested in some of the additional characters — especially one.

The most recent trailer has Deadpool rounding up some fellow mutants to form a super group, and some of the applicants are real contenders...that is, until they get to the last one.

I mean, there are some pretty badass mutants out there who we're pumped to see in action.

"Peter."

First of all, I can't with the khaki pants and mustache. Peter just looks like a pure soul who's ideal Saturday consists of heading to the Home Depot and mowing the lawn while drinking a nice glass of lemonade.

Peter literally has no superpowers. He honestly just applied to the job because he saw the ad, Deadpool (being Deadpool) added him to the team anyway, and we're screaming.

You know what? At least he's honest. You might not be able to count on him going face-to-face with Cable, but at least he'll have your back.

Naturally, the internet couldn't contain itself and started freaking out over this incredibly innocent character. Someone even created an epic poster that I want on my wall.

Peter's only job should be to pack all of the other mutants' lunches so that we protect him at all costs.

I think we can all agree — even though we've literally seen about five seconds of Peter on screen — that if he dies, we're gonna riot.

If he isn't standing there at the end holding a Tupperware container of orange slices, I am going to be livid.

Peter is already #goals when it comes to getting the job you're definitely not qualified to have.

He's going for it, y'know. And what more can you ask of someone? Oh. Maybe to have superpowers so they can actually help? Yeah, I guess that would be nice.

If someone can get me a life-sized print out of this poster to hang in my bedroom, that would be great.

I'll look at it every time I need to smile.

The most magical part about the whole thing is that Peter has a real Twitter account, and it is wholesome AF. His tweet about Friends really speaks to me.

His bio states that Peter is a husband and experienced apiarist (beekeeper), and that he also likes sports and grilling on his deck.

Rob Delaney is the hilarious actor behind Peter, and the casting is actually perfect.

Rob appears in the comedy Catastrophe, and he's had some roles in Cougar Town and Key and Peele.

If you're not sure if you'll like Peter, you might actually have some things in common with him since he's tweeted about his love for Friends, and who doesn't love Friends?

He also shares his love for all things beekeeping, and I can't anymore.

I mean, he's just the most excited about his bees, and his puns are too much to handle.

We really just hope Peter does the best that he can and doesn't die immediately after we see him on screen for the first time.

Step aside, Deadpool — you've been replaced.
