Like many other 21st century parents, they also maintain an online presence, keeping the world aware of their parenting and marriage hijinks on a Facebook page called Baby Sideburns.

From the vacations to the school work to the date nights to the embarrassing moments, everything is fodder for the blog! And one incident in particular brought out Karen's devious side.

Apparently her hubby had been having himself a lazy morning while she did all the housework.

No word on whether there was a cat actually involved, but as we all know, the rule is that when you have a cat on you, you can't move.

So Karen decided to send her lazy other half to the grocery store for some wild geese.

"OMG my hubby has been lying on the couch all morning while I'm doing soooo much stuff so I finally got super annoyed and sent him to the grocery store...with a special shopping list," she wrote on Facebook. "And yes, I turned the ringer off."

The trick, of course, is that nothing on that list actually exists.

Well, I suppose unsour cream is just cream, but good luck finding "seedless strawberries" or "mellow cheese." And that parenthetical note to ask about "diet diet Coke" because "it's new" is just genius.

Baby Sideburns followers ate it up.

Karen's list earned 40,000 shares, almost 50,000 reactions, and 13,000 comments, many with people tagging their significant others and their mom friends.

It seems a lot of folks out there are looking for ingenious ways to get back at their spouses.

Unfortunately, there's no update on whether Karen's husband found the Wheat Thins in the blue box or not.

For all we know, he's still searching the cracker aisle, tearing his hair out and sobbing in bewilderment.

Or hey, maybe he grabbed a blue Sharpie and went to town on a box and brought it home. Anything is possible!
