Finding "the one" in high school is extremely unlikely. I mean, really think about some of the people you dated in high school. Case and point, right?

Finding "the one" in high school and then becoming famous is even more unlikely, which is what makes these famous couples so special! These 14 pairs have gone the distance with obvious odds stacked against them, and I have to tip my hat to that.

1. Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins

"Die A Happy Man" singer and his wife, Lauren Akins, originally met as high schoolers. While they were on-again-off-again for some time during high school, they ultimately ended up together and now share four daughters.

2. LL Cool J and Simone Smith.

The rap legend and his wife, Simone Smith, got married in 1995, after initially getting together as teenagers. Their relationship has not only stood the test of time, but has also overcome some major obstacles. In 2004, Smith was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer. But fortunately, in 2019, announced that she had been cancer-free for 14 years.

3. LeBron James and Savannah Brinson.

NBA icon LeBron James and his wife, Savannah Brinson, met long before LeBron became a basketball legend.

“[Savannah] was down when I was at my high school, no cameras, no lights,” he told The Hollywood Reporter. The pair now share three children.

4. Bono and Ali Hewson.

U2 singer Bono and his wife Ali Hewson first met in Ireland when they were in high school.

"We were teenagers, went to the same high school, and just so happens it was this afternoon I walked her to her bus," he told Glamour in 2016. "Isn't that mad?"
