80s/90s kids all over the world are in a state of shock and disbelief: America's dad and the star of Full House, Bob Saget, has passed away at the age of 65.
Bob was a mogul, a pioneer, and one of the kindest, gentlest, and yes — crudest souls ever to walk the earth. Now, in a state of collective heartache, his fellow celebrity friends and peers are paying tribute to his iconic legacy.

In the battle of "Greatest 90s TV Dad," Bob Saget stood alone. However, Tim Allen in Home Improvement wasn't far behind. Tim said in his tweet that Bob's passing hit him hard and that he wasn't just a great comedian but a wonderful friend.
"Bob was the most loving, compassionate and generous man," Mary-Kate and Ashley said in a statement obtained by People. "We are deeply saddened that he is no longer with us but know that he will continue to be by our side to guide us as gracefully as he always has."
Of those people affected by the loss of Bob Saget, perhaps none is feeling it more deeply than his TV daughter — Candace Cameron Bure. The former star of Full House/Fuller House revealed that she is heartbroken and that 35 years spent together simply wasn't long enough.
Whoopi made sure to call attention to Bob's superhuman-sized heart, as well as his penchant for abject lunacy. In her closing remarks, she offered her condolences to Bob's family and his daughters.
Joe reflected in his post that Bob wasn't just a great comic, but an amazing human being as well. He also made sure to mention just how much he personally will miss him.

Neil and Bob got to know one another on the set of How I Met Your Mother. Neil said in his tweet that Bob's hilarity was only surpassed by his kindness and generosity.
Mindy made sure to mention just how kind and truly thoughtful Bob was to everyone. She also pointed out that for people of her generation — he was TV's first "hot dad."
B.J. is best known for his role as Ryan Howard on The Office; he also served as a writer and executive producer. Ironically, B.J. appeared on Bob's podcast less than a week ago, and he had no idea it would be the final time saying hello/goodbye to his old friend.
Josh played Ted Mosby on How I Met Your Mother; the younger version of Bob Saget's narrator. In a heartfelt series of tweets, Josh talked about the special bond he forged with Bob over the years — one which carried on long after the cameras stopped filming.
For anyone who may be unfamiliar, Bob provided the narration for the groundbreaking CBS sitcom — How I Met Your Mother. Craig said that Bob's soothing voice was a comfort both to fans as well as the cast.
