20 Interesting Images That Leave Us Wanting More

The internet is hands down the best place to find weird and fascinating images. The only downfall is that they kind of leave you wanting to see more, but that one pic may be all you get.

Still, I could sit and stare at one really cool pic for hours on end. Which makes this list a place for endless entertainment.

"European section in a US grocery store."

This seems like a mighty small aisle for a whole continent. I guess we kind of all use a lot of the same ingredients, though. This has got to be really special stuff you can't find just anywhere (unless you live in Europe).

"Someone decorated a tiny pine tree growing in the sidewalk."

I absolutely love it when people take it upon themselves to add a little cheer in the world by decorating random trees and stuff. No one had to do this, but they chose to. And I think that's pretty special.

"Saw a girl wearing a cat in a backpack while in line at the pet store."

I don't think I've ever seen one of these in real life before, but they're just so fascinating. And since cats love small spaces, and there are plenty of air holes, I bet this one is having the time of its life.

"Frogs, hands, polar bears, sloths, cats..? No idea what the things on this sweater are supposed to be."

The more you stare at these strange creatures, the less they look like any one thing. Maybe they're people wearing weird hoods and sitting like animals? Either way, they're pretty awesome. In a weird way.

"The way I wrapped my apples almost looks like a perfect treble clef."

I think what would be even more impressive (and also slightly impossible) would be if this tied bag looked like a bass clef. But still, this is pretty cool. It almost makes me want to put everything I own in bags just to try and make one.

"I store salt in this container and somehow some of it got outside the container in this weird pattern."

A few eagle-eyed commenters on the original Reddit post pointed out that this happened because the glazing on the pot cracked, letting salt seep out of it. Kind of gross, but also incredibly fascinating!

"This giant antique wooden fridge (still works!)."

It's hard to believe that this miniature hall of mirrors is actually an antique fridge! Even though it'd most definitely fail today's energy standards, it'd also be a really cool thing to own. Just because.

"My grandma's sugar collection from all around the world."

I wish we could see all the different brands of sugar, but this is still a really cool shot. Of all the things to collect from different countries, this sure is unique.

I wonder if they taste any different from country to country.

"A photo of a cobweb I took."

It almost looks like a giant spider web, but OP clarified that they just zoomed in really close. Still, this is incredible! It's hard to believe a single spider can same such an intricate design, all for trapping prey.

"The cold weather brought back my car's window sticker from years ago."

This is... so weird. But Reddit user Realworld had a really good explanation of how this happens:

"The window sticker had a low tack adhesive similar to masking tape... When OP peeled sticker off the window, adhesive residue was left behind from the blank areas. Thin residue is transparent, not readily apparent on dry window."

Basically, it shows up in certain conditions because the adhesive never really went away.

"The entire USA section at a Middle Eastern Grocery Store."

This feels like the sequel to the European section in an American grocery store. Meanwhile, American food is boiled down to potato chips and Ragu.

You know what? That actually sums it up really well.

"Rabbit my cat brought in (we released after it calmed down)."

I feel bad for this poor, traumatized rabbit. But I also kind of feel bad for the cat that brought it in, thinking it would get praised for its great catch. If only cats would catch on to the fact that we don't want them to bring us rodents!

"Never knew they have it in purple!"

Apparently cauliflower comes in more colors than just white. Which is cool! I've always wanted to be able to eat more purple things.

This one's so pretty, too. It looks like the kind of food you'd see in a commercial.

This lizard that's in the middle of shedding.

This is honestly kind of surreal. Sure, lizards shed their skin all the time. But it's a whole other thing to actually see one in the act. It's so cool, and yet kind of gross.

"A stealth bomber in flight caught on Google maps - 39 01 18.5N. 93 35 40.5W."

Wait, that's actually so awesome! I bet the Google maps satellites catch all sorts of strange, crazy things. I have no idea how this person knew to look at these exact coordinates, or if they just got super lucky.

"Found this egg in my chicken house!"

I'm probably not alone in saying I've been pampered by perfect store-bought eggs. But so many chickens lay such weird-looking eggs, like, all the time. We're missing out on a whole plethora of cool eggs with strange shapes!

"1984 original book cover becomes less censored with wear and tear."

I feel like, while the brand new cover looks really cool on its own, it's probably meant to have wear and tear on it. It just feels really thematically relevant, you know, since it's 1984.

"One half of my dog’s whiskers are white and the other half are black."

Things like this is what makes our pets special. Even if two dogs, cats, or hamsters look identical, there are little details that set them apart. Like having Cruella Deville whiskers, for instance.

"There was a bag of tiny dice inside my bar of soap."

There's a lot going on here. For starters, that soap looks like a caramel chocolate bar. And there's also the fact that it randomly had dice in it. I'm a little weirded out, and yet so fascinated right now.

"Naturally colored eggs hatched by different chicken breeds."

Even though the color of an eggshell won't change the taste, I still think it's really fun to eat eggs that aren't just white. I mean, just look at these! They're so amazing!
