20 Pics Where There Is Clearly A Glitch In The Matrix Happening

Literally anything in this world is possible. Yes, that means that the possibility that we're living in the Matrix is real (even if it's super unlikely). And every once in a while, you run into pictures that just feel like we've found a glitch in the simulation.

Like these strange pictures, that were caught at some pretty strange angles. They might just make you believe the simulation is real.

It's like her legs glitched away.

Okay, the way this person is standing is so strange. Coupled with the fact that she's wearing white boots while on snow, it almost looks like she's a legless body, floating in the air.

Total glitch material.

But which one is the reflection?

The way the reflection from inside the building is interfering with the landscape is really throwing me off. But it is, in fact, a picture taken looking out a window. I think.

Please try again.

Not only does it look like somebody opened a door, just for there to be another identical door in the way, but that "door" is actually snow! So, it's actually super terrifying if you think about it too hard.

"Not a UFO coming up over the hill."

Even though it kind of looks like there's a UFO in the sky, it's just a thing sitting in some water. I guess we haven't gotten the "aliens from outer space" update yet.

Watch your step there.

You know when you're playing a video game (especially an older one) and you accidentally clip through a building? This is exactly what that looks like. Even though it's probably actually a mirror or something.

"From a certain angle, the Hancock tower in Boston looks like it is only a façade!"

This looks like one super tall, super flat glass tower. And even though I know it's just a super tall tower isn't flat, I'm not going to be able to unsee it.

"Foot or shadow?"

This person's shoe is so dilapidated, it looks like it got really glitched. The fact that they're wearing a completely black sock isn't helping, either. It's like all the textures failed to load properly or something along those lines.

The snake is glitching, watch out!

Yeah... I actually can't tell you what's happening here. Is the snake partially behind the girl's back? Is this an incredible Photoshop job? Do we really live in the Matrix? Who knows.

I guess the room didn't load all the way through.

This looks like two different rooms tried to load at the same time. But if you look closely at the spot right between the tub and the washer, you can see that there's a mirror there.

"Found this levitating shopping cart."

Uh oh, looks like shopping carts are going to have to be patched in the near future. Either that, or the way the cart is sitting on all that slush is making it look like it's floating.

"Saw a dog driving a van yesterday. That bad boy was speeding."

Oh great, now we have dogs driving cars. What's next? Actual pigs flying?

In all seriousness, though, this seems like a really bad idea. How can you drive with your dog that close to you and not be distracted?

"Looks like the umbrella is half stuck in the ground. IRL bug, need to fix with next update."

Great, first floating shopping carts, then dogs that drive. And now umbrellas that get stuck in the ground. If we're truly living in a simulation, it's got a lot of glitches that need fixing.

This microwave looks like it's missing some parts...

That is one reflective microwave door. It's so reflective, in fact, that it makes the microwave looks like it's missing its insides. Whether it looks like a glitch or a defect, it sure is strange.

"Is it a mirror, or a hole?"

I want to say it's just a reflective bowl, but I honestly can't tell. I feel like I've been staring at these kinds of things for too long, and now I'm losing my grip on reality. Send help!

"My coworker’s scarf looks like a CVS receipt."

CVS may be notorious for its unnecessarily long receipts, but this is just ridiculous. And hilarious. I wouldn't be surprised if people thought this person was wearing an actual CVS receipt, though.

"The cold weather brought back my car's window sticker from years ago."

This is honestly kind of creepy. That sticker's gone, and yet its ghost is back to haunt the car window. Or maybe it's another glitch. Either way, it just ain't right.

"Frog world in 1950's TV set."

This would mostly be cool, but the "no signal" sign in the back is kind of throwing me off. It's making the frog enclosure so much creepier than it has any right being. It's just frogs, after all.

"The way the sky reflected off the glass at sunset made the balconies look as though they're floating."

Welp, looks like another texture that failed to load on time. Just give it a second, and the rest of that building will fill itself out before you know it.

"There's a group of cats that live outside my school."

Why do I feel like these cats know something we don't? Whenever they group up like that, it just seems like there's something wrong with the simulation. What hotfix are we going to get this time?

"When I opened the trunk, I freaked out thinking someone stole the cover and the spare tire. Then I've remembered that I bought a mirror."

Is it a glitch? A failed texture? Nope, it's just an oddly-placed mirror. This person should probably take it out of the trunk at some point.
