20 Creepy Pics That Made Me Believe In The Beyond

The world is full of strangely creepy and terrifying things. Things that may make you believe in aliens, magic, or the occult in general. Or, they'll just make you feel sufficiently spooked.

These creepy pics show some things you may not believe are possible. But I guess they go to show that anything is possible in this crazy little world we live in.

"This... Thing was painted behind the checkout of the main souvenir shop at Alton Towers. I think it's meant to be a bee but instead they created an embodiment of Satan."

Great, not only am I afraid of bees (and wasps. Mostly wasps), now I have to be afraid of demon bees, too. Hopefully this is just an artist's strange rendition of a bug, and not something they actually saw once.

This gate that's partially covered with overgrown shrubbery.

Yeah, so, that's a thing. Even though there's probably nothing on the other side, my mind is racing, trying to figure out what kind of dimension this gate leads to. It doesn't help that it's so dark in the picture.

"An AI generated picture made by text prompt, 'birthday party in hell.'"

As if we needed more reasons to be afraid of AI. Seriously, unless they grow sentient and decide to take over the world, they're probably going to keep providing us with enough nightmare fuel to last at least ten lifetimes.

"After 2 years driving my car I found this in a hidden compartment. Human tooth."

Realistically, it's probably some kid's baby tooth that they were extra proud about losing. But I also can't help but think that there's some kind of maniacal tooth-stealing criminal out on the loose. The Tooth Fairy's got nothing on this.

Don't worry, it's not like it's a REAL human face. Right?

See, this is why I can't own realistic face masks. I'd completely forget about them, only to find them at, like, 2 in the morning. That would freak me right out. Maybe we're better off without some things in our homes.

"This ghost that only appears in pictures of our campfire."

Well, if you didn't believe in ghosts before, maybe you do now. After all, it's not like there are any other reasonable explanations for this phenomenon. Nope, not at all.

Science? Never heard of the stuff.

This woman and her perfect crochet double.

I'm... pretty sure this doesn't count as a doppelganger. Because it looks like this woman just crocheted a life-sized replica of herself (which is both frightening and impressive).

And is it just me, or are the buttons on the crochet double's sweater... also crochet?

"Bone throne in the Paris catacombs."

I'm not gonna lie... the concept of a bone throne is actually kind of cool (with fake bones, of course).

This one, though, is just creepy. Like, who put it there? Was it meant for a demon queen or something?

Meanwhile, these Halloween decorations are on another level.

Yeah, so. As cool as this is, I can't help but wonder what's supposed to be going on here. Demonic sacrifice gone wrong? Demonic sacrifice... gone right? Ugh, this is starting to make my head hurt.

"College dorm power outage at 2 in the morning."

Warning: if you continue down this dark, scary corridor, there's a pretty high chance that you will be transported to an alternate dimension. And if you go there, good luck getting back.

...Man, good thing that wouldn't actually happen. I hope.

This is actually making me glad SpongeBob doesn't exist.

As cool as our favorite cartoon characters existing in real life would be, maybe it isn't the best idea. After all, they'd have to look more realistic. Maybe not like a person in SpongeBob makeup, but you get the idea.

The way the inside of this tree stump looks like it has claws.

I actually can't tell what's going on here, but I don't like it. Not one bit. I feel like all those movie and TV monsters they told us were fake might not be so fake after all. There's something in that trunk, and it's not good.

"Saw something floating in the dark at night. We never had a party."

Ah yes, nothing like a mysterious balloon of unknown origins in your house to get the ole' heart pounding.

Something is telling me they should get out of the house, or else they may end up floating away...

"A curtain hanging in the window."

You know how there are some nights where you might be a bit too scared to look out the window? Well, this is like that, except in the middle of the day, and you don't even have to look out the window to be scared!

"Schools at night are terrifying."

Well, I guess there are no night classes at this building. Which is probably for the best, anyway. I wouldn't want to be within a hundred feet of this place. Fear of the unknown is very real, and very valid.

Fog is always creepier at night.

Yeesh... if there's one thing I'd hate to see at night, it's fog. That's more than a little unsettling. Like something out of a horror video game.

If you start hearing radio static while you're out there... run.

"A friend went for a walk the other night and saw this woman just standing on a roof."

This is why you don't go for walks at night. You never know when you're going to find mysterious women standing on rooftops.

The only thing that could make this worse is if she started floating over that house.

"A friend's ultrasound. When you see it..."

I can't be the only one who sees a creepy person standing to the right inside the ultrasound, right? Maybe it's just my eyes playing tricks on me. There's no way some creepy ghost person is standing in there. Right?

"These creepy fossils that were recently discovered look like they came from outer space!"

To be fair, most sea creatures and, like, half of all bugs look like they could've come from outer space. But these things are especially alien-like. They're also super well-preserved! You know, as far as fossils go.

"My cat staring into my room."

There are creepy, ghostlike, demonic, and super unreal things in this world. And then there are cats. How is it that cats can simultaneously be so cute and so creepy? What secrets are they hiding behind those adorable, slightly evil eyes?
