20 Incredible Pics We Can't Stop Staring At

Every once in a while, you come across something so incredible, you have to take a picture of it. Maybe it's a far off destination, or maybe it's just something kind of normal that looks cool.

Either way, you're going to have people staring. And if they're anything like the pictures in this list, you may be staring for a long time.

"Giza, Egypt."

Egypt is one of those places that has existed for thousands of years and has so much history in it. Like, imagine having dinner while being able to see one of the Great Pyramids of Giza. Seems kind of like a dream come true if you ask me.

"Flames don't create shadows. I don’t know why I’m surprised by this."

I mean, when you think about it, it makes sense. Like the sun, fire is a source of light. It can cast shadows, but it can't really have one.

Still, it's really cool to see it up close.

"Good evening from Ghana."

I swear, there are so many amazing views around the world. It's kind of a shame that most of us will never travel to every beautiful place in existence, but at least we have the ability to take pictures. And people are always nice enough to share them.

"I made the World’s Largest NERF gun (actually works)."

Now, I'm gonna need to hear some confirmation from the Guinness Book of World Records, but I'll still believe it. This is, after all, one huge NERF gun.

And it apparently really works, which makes it even better. Not really sure what you'd use it for, though.

"A city made of toothpicks."

I can't even begin to imagine how many hours this must've taken. All to make this incredible toothpick town that looks like it came straight out of a storybook.

It looks like it was modeled after a bunch of cities, because I see quite a few different landmarks.

"A deer and its stunning antlers."

This is honestly such an impressive shot. How this person was able to get such a clear, close up picture of a deer without having it run away first is beyond me. And, like, even if it was zoomed in, it's still really cool.

"A lake, a dog, and a sunset!"

Do you think the dog is enjoying the sunset, too? Can dogs even see all the different colors of a sunset? Probably not, but I'm sure this pup had a good time nonetheless.

And wow, that water is super clear! The reflection of the clouds is so pretty.

"Saw this beautiful guy on a walk this morning."

Depending on where you live (and how close to a city you are), you might be lucky enough to spot deer out in your yard. This person was lucky enough to see one and snap a shot of it, and I'm not gonna lie, I'm kind of obsessed.

"Just got back from a backpacking in eastern Oregon, felt the urge to share the beauty."

It's amazing how much beautiful nature there is in our own backyard. The US (and North America in general) has so many different climates and habitats, that it's hard to find a place that isn't teaming with natural beauty.

"Rainbow Kitty."

I'm trying to imagine what a cat would look like if its entire body was covered in rainbow effects, and I really do think it would look cool. Weird, of course, but still cool.

This cat looks strangely unbothered by the rainbow that's on its face, too. So weird.

Proof that cats understand the concept of gravity.

Man, this cat gets it. I don't know what it gets, but it gets it.

And just like all other cats in the world, this one seems to be defying logic in a way that's really hard to look away from.

"A church with a view, Dolomites, Italy."

I wonder why they decided to build a church in this exact spot. Maybe it's inspirational, or maybe it just felt right. Either way, this is the perfect place for any building in general. I mean, that view pretty much can't be beat.

"The beautiful Northern Lights with a star filled sky in norther [*sic*] Minnesota."

I still can't believe that, if you go far enough north, you can run into one of the most beautiful things in the sky. The Northern Lights are so amazing! It's hard to believe it's something that happens on this planet naturally.

The kind of marathon anyone can run, apparently.

This is actually hilarious. Most of us probably wish we were the marathoner on the left, but we're probably the random bystander on the right (which is perfectly okay, since marathoning really isn't for everyone).

I wonder if this person knew there was a marathon going on.

"The Pika. Probably one of my favorite photos I’ve taken."

Not to be confused with Pikachu (though, that's where the iconic character got his name and design from), a pika is a real animal. And it's so cute!

This picture really is incredible. I seriously can't take my eyes off it.

"This tree grew around a stump, then the stump rotted away."

Trees are such incredible plants. They grow around and through things all the time, which makes them look almost alien sometimes.

The way this tree grew makes it look like it has a bunch of weird legs, or tentacles or something.

"Me and my girlfriend were walking in the woods the other week and saw a rainbow pool for the first time."

I'm not going to pretend I understand all the science behind how this phenomenon happens. But hey, it looks really cool, and that's basically the only thing that matters.

I'd almost want to jump in, but that water looks cold and dirty.

"My boy climbing an old rotten tree stump looks like a giant climbing mountains."

I guess, in a way, tree stumps and rock formations can really look similar. The angle this picture was shot at makes it look like this kid is a lot bigger than he probably is, which is actually so cool.

"India - A Lamborghini blocked by two buffaloes."

I feel like there's some kind of irony in this picture, but I can't quite pinpoint what it is. Something about how this expensive car is being blocked by a couple of animals. Like, nature versus technology or something like that. Either way, it's cool.

"Tonight’s sunset… the sky was on fire!"

Even though there have been some terrifyingly red skies in some places over the summer thanks to all the wildfires, this is, thankfully, just the sun. It's the kind of sight you can see without worrying about fires, which is really nice. And it's so pretty!
