14 Online Orders That We Probably Returned Immediately

Online shopping can definitely be a hit or a miss. I hope you agree with me. When I first started buying things online, I admit I was nervous.

I mean, how can you trust what you're going to receive? That's especially true of those questionable sites like Wish and so on. Thankfully, none of my items ended up like this.

1. These Fashion Sunglasses

There are so many cool places where you can order fashion sunglasses. They're all so pretty, I must say. But I'm quite confused why this lady ended up getting something like this instead? What exactly went wrong here?

2. This Tile Disaster

Word to the wise, never order tiles online. Nobody wants to receive the package and see this inside. Oh my goodness. Typically, companies tend to overpack their stuff, but this one didn't even protect the tiles well. Lesson learned.

3. This Online Grocery Fail

I've never actually ordered groceries online. And I'm kind of glad about that. I keep hearing of people ordering a bag of fruit or, in this case, potatoes and receiving a single one. How does that happen? Anyone?

4. This Sad Outfit

Buying clothes online can be such a gamble. Am I right? The first problem is that you can't try it on. I hate that. So you could easily end up looking the opposite of the model in the glamour shot.

5. This Odd Purchase

This lady thought she was ordering a carton of cigarettes. I know it's a bit odd for an online purchase. However, I bet she wasn't expecting to get a book like this, hee-hee. I wonder if this will help her quit. What do you think?

6. This eBay Switch

This lady thought she was ordering some funky pants for a Halloween costume. But then, when the package arrived, she received a dress instead. I hope it at least fits well. Shopping online is always a gamble.

7. This Glamorous Fail

I don't know about you, but I still prefer to buy glamorous dresses in the store. However, as we all know, that wasn't possible until now because of the lockdowns. So it's safe to say I'm glad nothing like this has ever happened to me.

8. This Ginormous Pool Floatie

I have to admit I'm used to seeing people buying pool floaties that end up tiny. So I wasn't expecting to see this ginormous one here. How many people is this supposed to house? I guess the entire family, eh?

9. This Ugly Dress

This could have been such a pretty dress. Unfortunately, when you shop from Wish, you never know what you're going to receive. It's one of the reasons I've never been tempted to shop there, and I think you should stay away, too.

10. This Silly Jumpsuit

Lately, I've been really into buying jumpsuits. However, I usually stay away from the more revealing ones. This lady took a chance at this JLo-inspired look, and let's just say it didn't quite work out for her, lol.

11. This Tiny Bottle Of Wine

Some people order their booze online. It's definitely convenient. But something tells me this person didn't expect their wine to be this tiny. Oh my goodness, I didn't even know they made small bottles like these.

12. This Rug Mistake

I was recently looking at rugs online. The pictures always make them look so nice. But one thing's for sure, read the entire description, so you don't end up with a pitty of a rug like this one, hee-hee.

13. This Not-So-Cool Outfit

You see, ladies aren't the only ones who have online shopping fails. It's definitely a relief to see, hehe. This guy thought he would be getting the coolest outfit, and instead, it looks more like pajamas. Oh, well!

14. When The Dress' Pattern Seems Awfully Familiar

This woman ordered a new dress online and decided to get her roommate's opinion on it. Well, they quickly realized that the dress' pattern had a striking similarity to their rug. LOL! For what it's worth, I think it looks cute!

Even though online shopping may seem super convenient, there are plenty of pitfalls.

I'm a touchy-feely kind of person, so I like to see and feel the fabric, for example. And that's why I'm always hesitant to buy everything online. Do you get what I'm saying?
