As a kid, it was my greatest wish to pull back a book and find a hidden room.
I never got to live that dream, but others definitely did. We went out and found some of the coolest hidden rooms, from those that were built to be cool, to those that were accidentally discovered. Let's check it out.

The side bookcase opens up into a huge billiards room! This is a hotel in Paducah, Kentucky called the Respite. The hotel tells you the room is there — you just have to find it!

It's an old cannery! There was actually food in those jars, which is both cool and slightly disgusting.

Sure, you COULD have a regular staircase opening...or you could recreate the wardrobe from The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe and have fun with your house!
