16 Times We Didn't Have To Guess Which Mistakes Were Made

A lot of situations that went wrong will have people scratching their heads, but when there's a broken window next to an abandoned bow and a quiver of arrows, it doesn't take a lot of guesswork.

And in a world of confusion and scary possibilities, sometimes, there's something kind of reassuring about an easy-to-explain mistake. Although, that's probably only true when you're not the one who has to clean it up.

But since we weren't around for any of these mishaps, we can just enjoy them like the smirking audience we are.

1. Unless that shoe is way more comfortable than it looks, they'll have to work hard to convince me that I'm not wearing the box on the right.

I'm not paying $540 more for the same thing, especially if it's not even full of delicious fries.

2. Even though it's an extra hassle to take the sign down after you close down, it's still kind of worth it sometimes.

Bonus points if your competitor moves in because there won't be any hope of taking it down when they have something to laugh at.

3. It usually helps to get a shot of all of the Incredibles together before you try to capture their likeness.

That is unless they had some bold artistic reason to make Jack-Jack and Dash giants and forget about Violet entirely.

Aw, that last part's almost too realistic.

4. Aw, man, why couldn't somebody remind this person not to fall too in love with shoes before you check if they have your size?

Reddit | Reddit

I'm sure they were all geared up to pick tulips by the windmills in these cute little numbers, too.

What? They are wooden.

5. Whoever made this possible is now my archenemy, and there's only one fitting punishment for this behavior.

Basically, it's to take away the roll and just leave the shredder so they can truly think about the evils they've done here.

Good luck wiping with those, villain!

6. This, however, is a tragic mistake that I can't blame anybody for.

Whether we're wrapped up in our phones or just really have to go, this sad oversight can happen to the best of us.

Unless it happens to the toilet shredder. I'm still mad at them.

7. Let's play a little game that I like to call, "Guess when they actually notice this."

Reddit | MoistWave

My favorite part isn't that they pulled away with the pump. It's the fact that their left turn is about to give that other gas station's staff a jump scare.

8. I don't know what hurts more: misspelling such an easy word, or realizing that you could've had the perfect reference if you just looked up.

Reddit | Tiwarii

Maybe they were so wrapped up in how pointless it was to do this when there's already a stop sign here.

Relatable.

9. I don't know what this is supposed to be, but one thing is for certain: This cake really bites.

Reddit | Reddit

There, now we have a joke to perfectly match the level of carefully-crafted failure that went into this thing. That's totally what I was going for.

10. On some level, I'm kind of impressed that somebody managed to do this without denting any of the walls.

Reddit | Saladboi420

But if they somehow get it out (like, at all), then they'll pretty much convince me to believe in magic.

I'm not holding my breath, though.

11. You know, I'm starting to think that cats don't always have our best interests at heart.

Instagram | @cunform

We can't really ignore the way it keeps staring at this person, though. It's either saying, "That's right, do something," or just quietly enjoying all the suffering.

I'm watching you, cat.

12. Folks, today we've learned not to trust anything that the seller will only show in front of a plain, white background.

Reddit | Mecca23

If they absolutely insist on not including measurements, they should at least include a picture of themselves standing by it with a thumbs-up.

13. I'm not sure there's much hope for anyone who loads a truck like this and thinks, "Yup, this is fine."

Reddit | MrInsan3

Because unless the driver is literally as lucky as Domino from Deadpool 2, I guarantee they're about to play a giant version of 52 Pickup.

14. I think the only reason the cat's face got this much coverage is that they learned lipstick doesn't taste very good.

Reddit | camillebejar

Otherwise, this photo would probably be of a brightly colored puddle next to its owner's shoes.

It could be worse, is what I'm saying.

15. Hmm, I'm guessing this photo comes to us from the end of a very long day.

Instagram | @bruhifunny

Because the last time I experienced hunger and confusion on this level, this person and I could probably have synchronized our watches.

One guess as to which time they're set at.

16. I sincerely doubt that this parking job is legal, but I think we know exactly how smart it is.

Sadly, the qualities in the car's name don't always carry over to its owner. I guess that's good news for any Beetle owners, though.
