We Think These Tiny Crochet Chameleons Will Bring Us Good Karma

When it comes to knitting and crochet, usually the tinier a creation is, the better. There's just something about small, handmade works of art that make people smile, which is exactly what happened when I saw the itty bitty chameleon friends made by Etsy shop owner, Viktoria Melnikova.

Melnikova, who is from Russia, captures the hearts of DIYers around the world as she turns out some of the cutest, most vibrant finger-sized reptiles we've ever seen.

On top of her small chameleons, Melnikova also crochets bitty-sized bugs, cacti, flowers, and teddy bears — all of which are equally adorable.

The most impressive part about her work is that she doesn't follow a pattern!

Melnikova simply draws out a basic sketch of what she wants to create and then starts freehand crocheting.

This is a disappointment to anyone who was hoping to grab the pattern from her and create their own.

She wrote to these people on her Instagram, saying, "Sorry, my friends. This is free knitting. I do not make a pattern."

These are just a handful of examples demonstrating this young artist's skills.
