16 Weird Pics To Make Anyone Raise An Eyebrow

There are lots of pics out there on the internet that will make you laugh or cry or just say "WTH," but you won't find those pictures here.

No. I'm aiming for that more nebulous reaction, where something isn't quite right and you can only ironically cock an eyebrow and go "hmm" as you wonder if it counts as irony.

1. This hiker is just blatantly ignoring the "No Hiking" sign.

Reddit | ageorgeforemangrill

Or maybe he just didn't see it, because it's oddly small and hidden behind a tree. I think I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

2. Is that a pancake in your rubber glove, or...

Reddit | Lion_Armhold

You know what, never mind. This guy probably ran out of regular baggies and found a clever alternative. I guess it could also be a donut, not a pancake.

3. Modern art or modern cuisine?

Reddit | YuriMasterRace

My guess would be that someone dropped the tongs in the tempura batter and thought this would be a funny joke. They were kind of right.

4. Lots of small dogs like to curl up with their owners in the bathroom, but usually at home...

Reddit | TheSmartanator

"Excuse me, sir, but could you please hand me some toilet paper?"

5. I thought I knew where natural cream cheese came from, but now I'm not so sure.

Reddit | bantamm

You make it from whose milk?! At least it's still full of natural goodness.

6. Great parking job, dude.

Reddit | 1stumbler

Judging by the state of the pillar, this was an accident, but can we take a moment to appreciate how a whole row of windows remained unaffected by the incident?

7. I don't think that means what you think it means...

Reddit | slimguitargod

It's the language labels that really make this for me. Just in case you weren't sure what the writer intended, it is, in fact, as dumb as it looks.

8. Not exactly what you expect to see on a gas pump.

Reddit | NotWithoutMyKatana

Though the quote doesn't seem to have a known source, I think we can all agree that it's vaguely creepy. And who thought this was a good idea?

9. Someone has lost a lot of remote controls.

Reddit | sam2996

I count 10, but it's possible a few are hidden. Perhaps a repair man dropped a box? Or it's every one Grandma lost in the couch cushions over the years.

10. Practical? Nah. Awesome? Hell yeah!

Reddit | Grimalkin

There's been more than one morning this winter where I wished I had a flamethrower to rid me of the snow. Or of the plows that keep pushing it into my driveway.

11. Using a frozen lake as extra parking seems like a good idea until it isn't.

Reddit | allentertainment2

Didn't anyone check the ice and put up a sign? Or did every one of these people just ignore the warning?

12. Unfortunate boot design, but especially in that color.

Reddit | Psychotropic_Beauty

Who was it that thought mitten toes in leather boots was a good idea? You can't wear socks with them, and who wears leather boots over bare feet?

13. Okay, I'll admit I more than "hmm'd" at this one.

Reddit | BlorfMonger

It was more of a giggly snort at the two awkwardly-placed neighbors. But I definitely raised an eyebrow at that typography mistake.

14. It's an earring in the shape of an ear!

Reddit | Forlurn

Do your ears hang low? Do they wobble to and fro?

No? Well the ear-earring can help solve both of those problems!

15. This looks like something straight out of a Coen Brothers' movie.

Reddit | touyajp

Ever since I watched Fargo way too young, I've been very suspicious of wood chippers, but this is ridiculous.

16. At first you think "what a cool, fingerless glove"...

And then you realize it's the biggest snail you've ever seen. Look at the size of that thing! It must be so slimy!
