Teacher Fires Back Hard After Former Student Insults Her On Facebook

It's easy to forget this when you're actually in school, but teachers face quite the uphill battle when a new school year begins. They have to help a bunch of students who would rather be anywhere else focus on what can often be a dull, repetitive learning process.

And sure, we may have had some teachers who were unfair and inflexible.

But after we grit our teeth through their classes, it's hard to get too worked up once all of that is in our rear-view, right?

Well, that wasn't the case for one former student.

For this guy, poor grades and summer school were enough for him to hold a serious grudge.

And he paid dearly — and publicly — for it.

Our story begins with a group on Facebook gearing up for their high school reunion.

From the Reddit post where this came from, it's hard to tell exactly which high school this is, as a lot of them throughout the country can likely be shortened to "CHS."

But one thing was for sure, a lot of kids at this school were looking forward to seeing one particular teacher again.

Her name is Mrs. Johanson and many of the former students in this Facebook group counted her among their favorite teachers.

However, one who decidedly didn't was a disgruntled man named Larry.

He was shocked that Mrs. Johanson could be their favorite teacher as he blamed the grades she gave him on the fact that he had to attend summer school.

And so, he had some strong, if misspelled words for her.

WTF that lady was youre favorite teacher?!? she a bitch cuz of her i had 2 take summer school!

Take a moment to appreciate it.

But what Larry didn't know is that Mrs. Johanson was also on the Facebook group and seemed to remember him.

To (most of) her former students' disappointment, she said she wasn't able to attend the reunion, but she still found a way to make an impression.

At first, she was fairly polite to Larry.

She said that she was sorry he felt that way about her and only included the fairly light jab of, "Obviously my grammar lessons didn't stick too well."

Far from feeling embarrassed by Mrs. Johanson's sudden presence, Larry became emboldened.

And so, he let fly with what he no doubt thought was a real scorcher, saying, "W/ever I couldnt say it n hs so I say it now U R A BITHC!"

Based on the wording of her response, Mrs. Johanson sounded more disappointed than angry.

As she likely wrote in between facepalms, "Larry, you can barely say it now. Also, you could have said that in High School, because 'BITHC' isn't a real word."

She also couldn't help but notice that Larry's Facebook page said that he was both single and unemployed.

"Who is the bitch now?" she asked.

Clearly, Larry didn't understand that the ability to say whatever you want now goes both ways.

She's no longer his teacher and they are both adults.

Just as he couldn't call her a bitch in high school, she probably had to hold back a lot of opinions about him at the time.

Naturally, the other people in the group were loving this exchange all the way.

Let's just say that Larry didn't have a lot of supporters.

This seems like a case of a bad student taking things out on an otherwise good teacher.

Of course, it wouldn't be complete if I didn't let you see the whole thing for yourself.

Why do I get the feeling that Larry will also suddenly be unable to attend now? At least it's a fairly common name.
