Neighbors Kept Running Over Family Fence But Dad Makes Curb And Wrecks Their Cars

I always felt like I was lucky in the neighbors I've had over the years, but it's hearing stories like this one that really make me appreciate just how lucky I've been. I can't recall having ever felt the need to get even minor revenge on an unruly neighbor. Heck, I'm not sure I've ever even had a neighbor that deserved to be described as unruly. Loud? Sure. Annoying? Maybe. But nothing I couldn't deal with.

Mind you, this guy sure found a way to deal with his neighbors who didn't respect his property. Talk about epic revenge!

It's easy to see how a neighborly feud could turn into the perfect situation for a spot of delicious, tasty revenge.

Reddit user MihaM12 shared a tale of pretty nasty revenge from his neighborhood on the platform recently, and wow is it ever a doozy.

Note: if you're ever taking the corner around this user's property, give it a wide berth.

As MihaM12 explains, he lives in a small Central European country.

In areas like this one, it's not uncommon for a neighborhood to be made up of distant relatives, family friends, and a general sense of knowing one and other.

That was the case with this neighborhood— but with a twist.

"Everybody here is a nutjob," he wrote. "They were constantly arguing over decades before me or my brother were even born."

To describe the set-up, MihaM12 explains that the big dispute was over the neighborhood's road and a corner on his father's property that cars would occasionally cut.

He included this diagram for reference, and described the situation for us.

"Our property is kinda like a square and it is surrounded by road from two sides," he wrote.

"Keep in mind that on one part of the road we let our neighbors use one square meter of the land so they could use the road safer and not damage our property. This is crucial information."

Now, for many years, MihaM12's parents fixed the potholes in much of the gravel road, and the neighbors expected them to pay for an upgrade to asphalt.

It never did get upgraded, of course, because nobody wanted to pay for it.

Turns out, not wanting to pay for anything was a real trend in the neighborhood.

When a large truck delivering a neighbor's wood order rolled through and took out MihaM12's father's fence, including multiple bushes β€” for the third time β€” again, nobody would pay for the damage.

"So this is where the revenge begins," MihaM12 wrote.

"My father is a police officer in the department where they mostly handle frauds, drug busts, etc.

"He knows the law well,” he continued.

β€œHe dug up the property line marker and placed plastic barrels filled with rocks on our property. In the next 6 hours 3 of our neighbors came knocking on the door because they hit our plastic barrels filled with rocks."

"They were angry and wanted to call the cops," MihaM12 continued, "but they never did."

"Because everybody knew that little part of land was still our property. One neighbor in particular threatened my dad that he will throw a pickaxe at my father's back. Over the period of 1 year these neighbors hit the barrels so much with their cars that the barrels are now worthless."

With the barrels ruined and MihaM12's father enraged, he decided to take things up a notch.

"He cut some wood to use it as a mold. He bought cement, sand and metal poles. One peaceful afternoon my father and I cemented that whole part of the land and placed some lovely flowers on top. So when they hit the concrete they can smell our flowers and victory/defeat."

How did that work out? Well, let's just say it was super effective.

"As we expected, five neighbors in total wrecked their cars on the new fence and nobody came knocking on the door," MihaM12 wrote.

So, safe to say that you don't want to mess with your neighbor's fence!
