32 Cool Little Details That Somebody Noticed

Employers seem to want to hire folks who can demonstrate an "attention to detail," judging by the job ads out there - not that I've been looking! Anyway, they probably just mean people who can get a fast food order right the first time, including the extra pickles, hold the mayo.

But there are plenty of little details out there to notice, and they're worth keeping an eye out for.

"This curtain pattern looks like Squidward."

Reddit | MouseHouseWithYogurt

Well, just try and un-see that now that it's been pointed out. It's uncanny, like the pattern was specifically designed after the famous Bikini Bottom resident.

Reddit | PoolSharkPete

And to be honest, I think I've only ever been to one place that was ever on money, as far as I know, so I can't blame this person for grabbing a pic.

Somebody noticed that this jigsaw puzzle had a repeating pattern in its shapes.

Reddit | Mygoldeneggs

So all the pieces can fit together perfectly even though the image makes zero sense. I don't know who notices such a thing, but I suspect they were mighty bored.

There's a reason the '2' on the far left is brightest.

Reddit | Ethiopiop

It's on a microwave's display, and on that end, it's by far the least used light, so it has the most life left in it. It's not the most consequential detail, but I'm sure I never would have noticed it.

Someone found these two embedded in concrete in their neighborhood.

Reddit | delarge3

Which makes sense. Generally speaking, you're never really going to see the insides of your pockets, and neither will anybody else, so what does it even matter?

The stained glass windows in this church contain the planets.

Reddit | carrotsandsweetcorn

Which is certainly not the sort of iconography you'd expect from a church, unless the patron saint is...I don't know...Galileo? Halley? Hubble?

Something doesn't quite add up with this Klondike donut bar.

Reddit | AddictedReddit

It's got the traditional donut hole, but it's Boston cream flavored and those definitely don't have holes in the middle. Still, curious to taste it. Boston cream is the best.

How formal.

Reddit | BeachBound1

As its owner noticed, this box turtle is never under dressed because its shell has a little bow tie on it. Even when it's feeling shy, it has that going for it.

This coffee company has an odd level of confidence in their customers.

Reddit | mahmilkshakes

Namely, that they'd know how to make a cup of coffee by rote, but not how to tie a tie even though many of us do that day-in, day-out.

"Two rocks in the wall of this house look like a music note."

Reddit | Pigmentzz

It might take a while, but it's there, in the middle, two black rocks that do indeed appear to make a musical note.
