If you haven't seen A Star Is Born yet, I need you to drop what you're doing and go watch it ASAP. This movie will literally make you feel all the emotions.

Seriously, once you realize that the guy from The Hangover and the girl who wore a meat dress to the MTV Video Music Awards came together to create a cinematic masterpiece, your mind is going to be totally blown.

1. A Star Is Born is the fourth remake of the 1937 film of the same name.

It was also a musical in 1954, a rock musical in 1976, as well as a Bollywood film in 2013.

2. Clint Eastwood was originally supposed to direct the film, according to Vulture.

And even though that didn't end up happening, he still took the time to visit the set, *Vanity Fair* reports.

3. Beyoncé was set to star, with big name actors like Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Cruise, and Will Smith approached to co-star.

Eventually, Bradley Cooper signed on to direct and star, and he cast Lady Gaga shortly after.

4. The first time Bradley met Gaga, he made her remove all of her makeup.

He handed her a makeup wipe and said, "take it off," reports the Los Angeles Times.

As we know, there's a large part of the film where Gaga is wearing next to no makeup (and looks totally gorgeous, by the way!).

5. Bradley admitted that he knew nothing about Gaga before they met.

"I didn't even know, really, what she looked like before I met her. And I was — I couldn't believe how comfortable she made me feel, and how present she was — is," he told *NPR*.

6. Bradley had code words for Gaga while filming scenes.

If he wanted to invoke a feeling of warmth, he would whisper the word "Tony," since Gaga has a close personal relationship with Tony Bennett.

If he needed her attention or focus, he would whisper words like "ninja" or "assassin".

7. Every song you hear in the movie is sung live, Bradley explained.

The movie's soundtrack actually ended up debuting at No. 1 on Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Not too shabby! With a song as amazing as "Shallow," it's also not a shocker.

8. Bradley revealed that the one scene that he was actually scared to film was with his on-screen brother.

We see that Bradley's character, Jackson, eventually opens up to his brother in the pivotal scene.

"I remember even in the table read, I couldn’t even say the line. I would start crying, I was scared for that scene,” he told *Vanity Fair*.

9. In the same interview with VF, Bradley points out that his character always takes his hat off while on stage.

He wanted to show that his character wears his hat to hide the light, but when he's on stage, he doesn't have his hat on.

10. He added that at the end of the movie (during that heart-breaking scene in the garage), that's why you see Jackson remove his hat.

That's Bradley's dog in real life! And just like in the movie, his name is Charlie, too.

Bradley explained to NPR that his dog is named after his late father.

While being interviewed by The New York Times, he made it clear that he was only going to answer the same questions that he was being asked by many other reporters. He didn't indulge in the deeper sense of where the movie came from.

"The experience was so incredible, it was such a wonderful, wonderful experience, that it can only go downhill," he explained.

He described Bradley and Gaga as "miracles" and even claimed, “It’s the best, most important commercial film I’ve seen in so many years,” reports *Vogue*.

15. The last scene in the movie features Ally singing "I'll Never Love Again," but the day that scene was shot, Lady Gaga actually lost one of her best friends to cancer.

She explained in an interview with Apple Music that she went to see her best friend Sonja, who wasn't doing well, and she ended up passing away just 10 minutes before Gaga was able to get there.

She returned to set and continued to sing, as a way of honoring her friend.

And the final shot we see in the movie was actually the take that was recorded right after Gaga had returned to set, just an hour after losing her friend.
