Twitter Is Shook After Kylie Jenner Gifts Her Mom A Ferrari

Diply 30 Oct 2018

Most of us love our mothers more than we love anything or anyone else on the planet. They raise us, love us, and then set us free.

And even though we can't actually leave because we don't make enough money to afford our own place while paying back student loans, we do our best to make sure they know how much we care.

For the majority of us, showing Mom that we care means heading over to the local mall and browsing JC Penny for a blouse or scented candle.

And for the record, that is normal!

Obviously, nothing says, "I love you mom!" like a generic gift from whichever department store is most accessible by bus.

We toss that 'ish into a gift bag that our mom used for our birthday last year and try to flatten out that crumpled tissue paper to put on top.

If we're feeling bougie, we might even go that extra mile and wrap it instead of baggin' it.

Not likely though, since our mom is the only person in the house that can make a wrapped gift look presentable.

But regardless of the great bagging vs. wrapping debate, none of us are out here flexing as hard as Kylie Jenner just did.

You didn't have to go that MF hard, Kylie.

Kylie posted the ol' classic "buy your mom a Ferrari" shenanigan to her Instagram story, and it was actually super adorable.

She recorded herself on the way to deliver her gift, and mentioned that she's had the car for about a month.

But she couldn't wait until her mom's actual birthday on November 5.

So naturally she skirt-skirted on over to Kris' place for the ultimate surprise, and Kris' reaction didn't disappoint.

It's safe to say her mother was ECSTATIC AF!

She was in complete disbelief as Kylie told her she bought her a brand new Ferrari 488 for her 63rd birthday.

She screamed, she laughed, she cried.

And most important of all, she asked, "How do you even start it?"

Fair question.

Obviously, Twitter had a lot to say about this birthday bonanza.

And I gotta' say, I kind of agree with all of these tweets. Mostly because they're about being poor, but also because I love my mom and want to gift her crazy stuff, too.

I'm not saying I'll be disappointed in my future children if they don't deliver a car worth almost $300k for my birthday...

But I am saying that Kylie is doing amazing, sweetie.

This is how I feel when my moms used to tell me to thaw the chicken while she was at work...

...and I forgot until I heard her car roll up in the driveway at 5 p.m.

Heart palpitations then ensued.

Sometimes, you just gotta accept what you have, though.

And realize that whatever you end up getting your mom, she will love you no matter what.

Or, she'll at least pretend to.

This is peak unemployment vibes.

*Hands my mom her own credit card* Buy yourself something nice, doll. You deserve it.

OK, BUT WHY WOULD MY MOM STILL SAY THANK YOU AND THAT SHE LOVES ME ? I don't deserve her.

Truthfully, even though Kylie's gift seems extravagant and extra AF, I would do the same if I could afford it.

There's no greater pleasure in life than seeing your mom smile or cry happy tears because of something you did for her.

If we consider the math, though, her gift barely dented what she has to her name.

So yeah, I think as far as gifts in relation to net income go, we're all doing decently.

Well, at the very least, we're doing better than this Twitter user.

Girl, you better get on your Kylie Jenner 'ish and secure your bag! Yo' momma is counting on it, boo.
