24 Things That Should Not Have Been Left Like That

Diply 3 Jul 2018

Everything that exists was left that way by someone else, for better or worse. I make an effort to improve the state of things when I enter a room or interact with an object, but that just isn't always the case. Sometimes, though, things are left in such disarray then you can't help but wonder who was there and think, "Yeah, I'll just leave this like that."

Here are some pictures of stuff that deffo should not have been left like that.

1. Hi, I'd like to order two cakes please, with "Happy Birthday" on both.

Reddit | Reddit

Maybe I have too much faith in humanity, but I am choosing to believe this is a joke because there's no way someone looked at this request and went, "Yeah, seems legit."

2. I've metaphorically painted myself into lots of corners.

With lies, mostly. This guy has done it in the traditional way, and he's done it with paint, which has gotta suck as well. At least I can run away when everything begins to unravel — this guy has gotta wait it out.

3. I'm not a doctor, but I do feel qualified to say that sunglasses don't go...there.

Reddit | its_the_peanutiest

Or do they? Is this some new fashion trend I'm not in on? You kids these days with your Beyblades and your anus shades.

4. Put

I honestly can't with this shit. You are going through the trouble of setting it on the holder, and if you need toilet paper, then you're already sitting down.

If I caught someone doing this at my house, I would literally drag them into the bathroom and rub their nose into the paper like the animal they are.

5. This is what happens when you fall asleep in the sun with a cereal bowl on your lap.

What the heck did you think would happen? All I can think about is how hot the spoon must've gotten.

6. If it's stupid and it works, it's not stupid.

Or is it? I guess technically as long as the chicken hits 165°F, then no one's gonna die. Cleaning that off might be a bitch though, and there is clearly no advantage to cooking it this way.

7. Does this work?

Twitter | @Hunteezus

I don't think you're supposed to hand those out IRL, but I've never actually played Uno, so who knows? I'm gonna need someone to find out and report back as soon as possible, because I have like 10 tickets for public intoxication that I really can't afford right now.

8. If someone pees on this little guy, I will be very upset.

Reddit | bassetmaster

I appreciate the signage, but I wouldn't trust a piece of paper to stop someone from peeing on me, and I don't think this guy does, either. Where the tanks at?

9. You uh, gonna put that fire out?

Imgur | randomsubrepost

No? Just gonna take pictures, huh? Okay, I mean, that works too, I guess. But seriously, now that you got some pictures, you don't think maybe someone should throw some water into that sewer? Just gonna leave it like that...okay. Got it.

10. Well, that Starsucks.

I applaud whoever made the best of this spilled coffee scenario by jamming a straw into it, but do you really think that's the best course of action? I'm a caffeine junkie too, but I still wouldn't slurp my java from the crevices of a dirty car, no matter how desperate I was.

11. Here are some facts that I know about air.

Imgur | Imgur

Hot air heats and burns things, and cold air cools and freezes things. I'm sorry I have to explain this to you; if you feel insulted, get in touch with my girl, Eef, here, because clearly there are still some people kicking around who are unaware of this.

12. Sleeping and cooking do not mix.

Twitter | @linpulls

It's kinda like the "cold air freezes stuff" comment I just made above, I thought this was common knowledge, but I guess I'm wrong.

13. Was the label really necessary?

Instagram | Instagram

It really didn't fix anything, and chances are that no one is going to get close enough to read it, anyway. Seems like extra steps just to take some extra steps.

14. I don't know if this counts as working on yourself.

Listen, my version of self-care isn't exactly Instagram-worthy — unless you're into cheap scotch and eating "diet" ice cream from the container — but at least the only thing I'm hurting is myself.

Please, for the love of God. Rerack your weights.

17. You had one job.

Reddit | ReverendRGreen

Hangers were originally patented in 1897. Do you know what that means? We've had 121 years to figure out how to use them properly. I have no sympathy for this person.

18. Don't they have a quality control team to stop these kinds of mishaps?

Reddit | SonOfSeattle

You know what, forget it. If they threw QA out the window in exchange for lower prices, I'm okay with it.

19. I both love and hate this.

Reddit | SoundOfLaughter

I hate the idea of getting tricked by a ridiculous prank like this, but I also really, really love messing with people. I'm torn.

20. Technically, you got what you asked for.

Twitter | @SYDNABEANZ

I guess I'm trying to look on the bright side here. That is deffo NOT okay, and someone should be reprimanded for doing this to your poor sandwich.

21. That poor ice cream.

Instagram | @streetcatto

It just wanted to make people happy, and this is how you treat it. Probably shouldn't have left it like that, also. I don't think it's very good for the plumbing.

22. If someone did this to me, I would hunt them down and break each of their eight legs.

Imgur | Imgur

If they didn't have eight legs, I would just keep repeatedly breaking their bones until they looked like they did because this is NOT OKAY.

23. Can't even be mad at this. It's pretty clever.

I guess this is just what happens out of necessity when people are left to their own devices.

24. Damn, nature. You scary.

Imgur | thelossandcurseofreverence

How did this even happen? That ice would've had to have been pretty thick for a truck to pull out without breaking it. This is weirding me out.
