15+ Super Useful Ways You Can Hack An Everyday Plastic Straw

In my time writing DIYs and hacks for Diply, I've come across a ton of really cool projects involving everyday plastic straws. We all know plastic straws end up in the trash way too often, but what if there was a way to use them so they didn't end up in the garbage?

Whether you've got a pack of straws on hand or you're looking to recycle some of the ones you've used (clean those bad boys with a pipe cleaner and you're good to go!), these hacks are perfect for finding ways to use plastic straws for good.

1. Here's an oldie but a goodie that's been posted quite a few times over on Reddit.

The jury is still out on whether or not this hack is actually worth doing, but if you hate the stems of strawberries as much as I do, it could be worth a try.

2. Put those old straws to use and use them for home organization!

Just cut a slice in the side of your straw and you can wrap them around your cables and wires. Then use a permanent marker to mark which cable powers up each of your devices.
