15 Simple Cleaning Hacks That'll Take Your Home From 'Yikes!' To 'Nice!'

Even though I would love nothing more than to have a spotless home at all times, it's simply not possible. From busy work schedules to a dog that whips drool into every nook and cranny imaginable, maintaining a perfectly clean house is not an easy task.

However, thanks to a few tips and tricks I've picked up over the last few years, I've been able to make cleaning a little bit easier to manage.

1. Clear A Path

If your shower head has a nasty buildup of hard water and other questionable things, don't replace it, just clean it!

Fill a plastic sandwich bag with distilled white vinegar and an essential oil of your choice. Use an elastic band to secure it over the showerhead, and allow everything to marinate overnight.
