Warning: Spoilers Ahead!

After the events of Avengers: Infinity War, many of us were left mourning the characters that we lost and wondering how we can get them back.

I mean, they are definitely coming back, right? RIGHT?!

Well, according to this theory, the answer to that question is less about "how" and more about "who."

Just to recap: This is Princess Shuri of Wakanda.

She's the younger sister of T'Challa, aka Black Panther, and we freakin' love her.

She's a hilarious technological genius who stole the show in Black Panther and wasn't used nearly enough in Avengers: Infinity War

The last time we saw Shuri, she was facing off against Corvus Glaive after attempting to remove the Mind Stone from Vision's forehead.

Tragically, we don't know what happened to Shuri after Thanos' snap, but I'm willing to bet she wasn't dusted off-screen because that would suck.

With T'Challa gone, many fans have expressed interest in seeing Shuri take up the mantle of Black Panther.

If she's alive, that would make her queen of Wakanda, right?

In the comics, Shuri does just that when her brother is severely injured, so it's not like this suggestion is coming out of left field.

According to one theory, Shuri could actually be crucial to discovering the true fate of all the characters who turned to dust at the end of Avengers: Infinity War

Because we all know they're coming back.

As we learned in Black Panther, taking up the mantle of Black Panther requires a ritual that would allow Shuri to converse with her dead loved ones in the Ancestral Plane.

But, wait! Shuri can't undergo the ritual because Killmonger burned all of the heart-shaped herb, right?

Wrong.

Shuri is literally smarter than Bruce Banner, so I'm pretty sure she can handle a little gardening. A place as technologically advanced as Wakanda has to have a couple seeds tucked away somewhere.

A popular theory suggests that the characters who died at the end of Infinity War are trapped in the Soul World.

The Soul World is an idyllic pocket dimension that exists within the Soul Stone.

According to a new theory, if the dusted characters aren't actually dead or their souls are trapped, when Shuri arrives in the Ancestral Plane she won't find T'Challa.

This could be the "eureka" moment that kicks off the whole movie, because Shuri will realize that the lost characters are somewhere else and can be saved.

According to the Russo brothers, who directed Avengers: Infinity War, they can't reveal Shuri's fate because it's a spoiler.

The Russos were happy to talk about other characters who definitely dissolved off-screen, but Shuri wasn't one of them.

Umm, that's suspicious, bros.

And obviously, Avengers 4 is going to be about the Infinity Stones.

Shuri, Banner, and Thor (kind of) are the only members of the remaining team that have had experience working with the stones.

I'm convinced that Shuri was able to save her work on the Mind Stone and that it will come into play in Avengers 4. That info is really the Avengers' only remaining asset.

If everyone is truly dead, we know that at least some of them are coming back.

There's a Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel in the works, people!

The only way to bring everyone back will likely be by using the Infinity Stones that initially destroyed them. Shuri, at least, has some info on the Mind Stone and that's a start.

Of course, it's impossible to predict anything at this point.

It's not like Infinity War exactly followed the comics. Marvel is definitely playing by their own rules.

In the comics, Thanos is defeated because he legit isn't paying attention and Nebula yanks the gauntlet off his hand. This all happens in space, and none of our favorite MCU heroes have much to do with it. Instead, the fight features Adam Warlock and other cosmic entities.

Since literally none of that is set up, I can't see that happening in Avengers 4

No matter what happens, it would be awesome to see Shuri become the Black Panther.

With her brother gone and her home decimated, Thanos had better watch out for my girl. I'm sure she'll be taking no prisoners.
