This isn't the first time a beauty blogger or makeup artist has been called out for racist makeup looks, and unfortunately, it won't be the last time, either.

The latest makeup artist to be dragged by the internet for this is Perçem Akin, who did a "tutorial" for a blackface makeup look.

People were very upset with Perçem, and it only got worse when they noticed she had included the hashtag #slave in her Instagram post.

In an interview with BuzzFeed, Perçem defended her actions by saying that she had to do the makeup on herself because she couldn't find a black model in Turkey.
