Diply 22 Oct 2018

Some people are just born innovators. Steve Jobs, Nikola Tesla, the person who came up with the McRib. The deep thinkers, ya know?

I mean, I can barely tie my shoes and string a sentence together (thank you to Velcro and Grammarly respectively), so of course I'm easily impressed.

But these folks are makin' moves.

1. So, it's not just this person and me, right? We all recognize how humor is...something weird in 2018?

2. Uh...maybe fashion's doing its own thing right now, too.

But I can't say that I'm not into it. I'd pull the same move, but...let's just say that the effect might be redundant.

Like dressing a dachshund up like a hot dog, basically.

3. The real heroes are out there, adding a little spice to the roadside landscape.

It might work as an anti-littering campaign, too. Would you toss a wrapper out your window if the trees were literally watching you?

4. I'm not a parent, but I can totally understand the relief that this must be for anybody with kids.

7. No problem, you just unplug the building and plug it back in, right?

The Chive | The Chive

Hopefully, it's not auto-updating. That takes forever and the building always gets funny creaks and stuff afterward.

The Chive | The Chive

So I'm in the market for a clock more my speed. Just show me the big picture, baby.

Twitter | @HumansOfLate

No, not "is the butterfly green energy?" I'm talking about the tree...you know, the plug...green...because it's a...ugh, never mind.

(Actually, my greatest regret is that everyone laughs at me when I eat them with chopsticks. Like an adult.)

11. It's not cool to be a poser, but somebody who knows how to pose can usually get a decent profile pic out of it.

The Chive | The Chive

Don't ask me. My photogenic-ness-osity is somewhere between "spilled food" and "close-ups of feet."

12. Aw man, I'm having all sorts of feelings right now.

Don't you hate it when the thing that reminds you that your heart works is...cosplay?

13. There are some people, though, who are definitely a step or two behind.

The Chive | The Chive

Oh, I'm not talking about the comedy genius who took these pics.

But...what was that gate supposed to even do?

Load Comments

Maybe it is actually smart. Who's gonna think that a person who puts up a gate like that has anythingworth stealing?

Who knows? Maybe there are more hidden geniuses out there after all.
