I've seen a lot of cool marketing gimmicks in my life so far, but Monkey Shoulder may have just jumped to the top of the list.

Why? Because their new method of promoting their blended malt scotch whiskey is awesome!

Behold, the Monkey Mixer:

Yes, they basically took a cement truck and replaced the giant drum with a massive cocktail shaker.

The 27-foot long shaker can hold up to 2,400 gallons, which Monkey Shoulder describes as the equivalent of 123,000 bottles of their product.

Monkey Shoulder's whiskey is made specifically with mixing in mind. It's a blend of three different small batch single malts, and apparently tastes great on the rocks or as part of a cocktail.

The truck will be touring the U.S. all through 2018, starting with Arizona Cocktail Week.

They'll be serving a drink they call the Mixed Up Monkey, and yes, it'll be poured directly from the Monkey Mixer's chute.

From there, they'll be hitting other cocktail festivals and "surprise locations" throughout America.

Don't worry, though, it'll be easy to find.

Besides standing out from the crowd, the Monkey Mixer is also sporting a crazy 2,000 watt sound system. The three amps, four speakers, and three subwoofers should keep the party going for a long time.

They hope that the stunt won't just promote their own brand, but also show that whiskey doesn't need to be a precious drink — you can have fun with it!
