Khloé Kardashian Got Mommy-Shamed For Exercising, And Her Response Was Pure Gold

As if Khloé Kardashian didn't already have enough drama in her life, the internet has now decided to mommy shame her for getting back into a workout routine just five weeks after giving birth to True.

Evidently, though, Khloé has a zero-tolerance policy for mommy shamers.

Recently, Khloé announced that she had been given the go-ahead by her doctor to begin exercising again.

"I'm super excited because my doctor finally cleared me this week to work out and I'm going to meet with Coach Joe! I've literally been counting down the days," explained Khloé.

But Twitter — an entity notorious for finding the negative side to any situation — was not impressed with Khloé.

In fact, several people got the impression that Khloé was too concerned with her body image and not nearly concerned enough about her newborn daughter.

Because, as we all know, a mother can't possibly take care of herself and her child at the same time, right?

Wrong.

The idea that a woman has to sacrifice every part of herself for her child is beyond tiresome.

After catching wind of the negatively on Twitter, Khloé decided to fire back at her haters via Snapchat.

"What I'm annoyed about is that I've read a couple of times on Twitter that, you know, they feel that I'm focusing too much on my body," said Khloé.

"But the truth is, I've worked out five or six days a week before I got pregnant," she added.

"And that's my sanctuary and something I love to do," said Khloé.

"So I want to start doing that now and getting into my rhythm," she continued.

"And in between feedings, I want to find time to work out because that's going to be my new normal," explained Khloé.

Sorry — just a sec. Can we also address the fact that people are telling Khloé she needs to watch Tristan Thompson "with a hawk's eye?"

Um, since when did it become Khloé's responsibility to make sure Tristan is on a clean and moral path?

Let us get this straight: People want Khloé to parent both True and Tristan now?

We're pretty sure being a loyal partner, if that's Tristan's goal, is his own responsibility,

But we can understand where the confusion comes in, considering the ridiculous expectations that are already set up for women/mothers compared to men/fathers.

Sigh.

Anyway, back to the matter at hand: "Just because I have a baby doesn't mean I have to stop doing the things that I love," said Khloé.

"And I love working out and getting my mind right," she added.

Unfortunately, this concept is mystifying to some people.

And apparently, so is the fact that exercise has a multitude of health benefits that go far beyond shaping your own physical appearance.

Anyway, a woman's health and personal needs don't suddenly disappear because she has a child.

Perhaps Khloé's mommy shamers would benefit from remembering that before they hit the "tweet" button next time.
