What was life before Instagram? I know it wasn't all that many years ago, but I simply cannot remember it. After all, a world without aimlessly scrolling through people's feeds is not a world I wish to be a part of.

And it was during one of my daily Instagram creeps when I discovered makeup artists were showing off a new eyebrow trend: garden brows.

Of all the weird and somewhat disturbing eyebrow trends Instagram has shoved in our faces, this one might actually be a blessing.

She used green liquid lipstick to color her brows, then attached tiny (and real!) flowers to her brow hair using eyelash glue. Add in a few butterfly stencils, and voila!

Aspiring makeup artists quickly jumped on board the garden eyebrow train.

Citing Taylor as their inspiration, people began displaying their own take on this whimsical trend.

Check out these metallic green brows! She looks like a real-life fairy princess or something.

When trying out this over-the-top trend, the common theme seems to be leaving the rest of your makeup extremely simple.

Not that it's even possible to detract from green eyebrows that are dotted with real flowers. But you get the point.

Although you may not want to rock this look on an everyday basis, it sure is fun for photo purposes.

When it comes to garden eyebrows, the more whimsical and carried away, the better.

I love that she chose to attach even more little flower petals above her brows. And that flower crown? I'll take one, please.

It's wild how much these eyebrow hairs resemble mossy grasses.

I feel like colorful brow gel sales are about to take off. Also, where does one get those little butterfly stencils? Asking for a friend.

Even though these brows probably take forever to create, the end product is totally worth it.

This combined eyeshadow and eyebrow look is so gorgeous and so magical.

Some people can create artistic masterpieces like this, and I can hardly put on my mascara properly.

I mean, just look at the pug and his mossy green eyebrows!

And I also love how this girl threw a casual pink bird in her hair.

If cutting out tiny flowers and attaching them to your brow hairs is too much for you, why not draw them on instead?

This eyeshadow look was the perfect choice for this garden scene.

I know this is supposed to be garden brows, but this would be a perfect look for St. Paddy's Day.

I'm just green with envy over this look. I mean, those butterflies!

I know these brows aren't metallic green — and the flowers are super simple — but I adore everything about this whimsical, nature-inspired look.
