Just like Clark Griswold, I love decorating my home for the holidays. Now, I'm not one to cover every square inch of our house in lights or anything like that, but it's still pretty obvious to passersby that we love Christmas.

The collection of DIY projects below is for those of you who are as passionate about this time of year as I am. And whether you're looking for something to use on your front door or alongside your prized nutcracker collection, I guarantee you'll find just what you need right here.

1. Painted Woodland Ornaments

For the last few years, my tree has had a woodland theme that includes a faux fur garland and adorable ornaments depicting some of my favorite animals, like foxes and moose. If you want to create a similar look on your tree this year, these cute ornaments would be a great place to start.

2. DIY Candy Lights

Just imagine how whimsical and fun your house would look if it were decorated with these amazing candy light strands! And trust me, they're easier to make than you think.

3. Terracotta Christmas Tree

Terracotta pots have to be one of the most versatile crafting materials out there, and they never seem to disappoint, either! Some paint, hot glue, and festive accents are all you need to completely transform them.

4. Jingle Bell Door Hanger

Wreaths aren't for everyone, but that doesn't mean there aren't other fun ways to decorate your front door! And this jingle bell hanger is a perfect example of that.

5. Simple Christmas Terrariums

What I love about this idea is the fact that all of the materials you need for it can be purchased at the dollar store, which is essential for those working with a strict budget.

6. Grapevine Wreath Ornaments

These pretty little things can certainly be used as ornaments, but if you're a winter bride looking for a unique place card idea, they could be that, too!

7. Rustic Clamp Candy Cane

Isn't it awesome when people get creative and turn everyday items into something completely different? This candy cane artwork made out of painted clamps is so unique, which is why I love it so much.

8. DIY Mod Light-Up Trees

If a traditional red and green Christmas really isn't your thing, don't fret. As you can see, there are still plenty of ways to add a splash of holiday cheer to your decor.

9. Colorful Gradient Ornaments

Gradient patterns have a way of making anything and everything look pretty. If you love vibrant color palettes that scream chic and modern, these ornaments are just what you've been waiting for.

10. Twig Christmas Tree Luminaries

There's nothing better than turning out an awesome craft that only required upcycled materials. These twig luminaries are fun, rustic, and perfect for any holiday setting.

11. Christmas Ornament Advent Calendar

I can't get enough of this Advent calendar! Sure, chocolate is amazing, but these ornaments are too cute for words. I would love, love, looove to have one of these in my home.

12. Monogrammed Ornament Gift Tags

An easy way to make a simple ornament β€” or any DIY project for that matter β€” look pretty and sophisticated is to add some gold leaf to it. And these ornaments that double as gift tags are the perfect example of how well this idea works.

13. Sparkly Mosaic Ornaments

This DIY is the perfect way to glam up your Christmas tree while using materials you definitely have lying around. These ornaments will also catch the lights from your Christmas tree just like little disco balls, and your tree will look that much more amazing.

14. Toilet Paper Roll Reindeer

This is the perfect simple craft to do with kids You probably already have most of these materials at home, so it's a great craft for staying warm inside on a snowy day.

15. Pour-Painted Christmas Ornaments

I can't get over how amazing these pour-painted Christmas ornaments look! They are also super easy to make. Just grab your favorite paint colors and some clear ornaments, and you're good to go.

16. Vintage-Inspired Bell Jar Ornaments

These easy-to-make ornaments would be the perfect gift for the retro-lover in your life. I was blown away when I realized that these are made with plastic wine glasses.

17. Stacked Book Christmas Tree

How amazing is this Christmas tree? This tree seriously speaks to my inner book lover. It's also a gorgeous and easy way to make sure you have a Christmas tree in every room of your house without breaking the bank.

18. No fireplace? No problem.

Let's face it β€” not all of us have fireplaces in our houses to hang our stocking on. If you're like me and don't have a cute spot to hang your stockings, then this craft is for you. Create a faux fireplace with just a drop cloth and chalkboard paint.

19. Galaxy Ornaments

These space-inspired ornaments are so stunning that I honestly want to keep them up all year. I love simple yet pretty crafts, and this is definitely one of my favorites. All you need for this DIY is floor wax and glitter.

20. Paper Bag Advent Calendar

Count down the days until Christmas with this cute and easy paper bag advent calendar. You can paint the bags however you'd like, and fill them with fun surprises that will tide you over until the big day!

21. Easy Ornament Wreath

Wreaths don't have to cost an arm and a leg as long as you're willing to put a little bit of time and effort into making one. For example, this beauty only cost $20 and took 30 minutes to put together.

22. K-Cup Snowman Hats

If you can't recycle them, why not upcycle them instead? Put those leftover K-Cups to good use by turning them into an adorable set of snowman hat ornaments for your tree.

23. String Christmas Tree

Lastly, if you don't mind getting a bit messy, creating a collection of string Christmas trees could be a fun way to spend a snowy weekend indoors with the family.
