Diply 9 Oct 2018

Sure, we all make mistakes, but some are a lot more avoidable than others, right? Well, you'd think so, but even on our best days things can take a turn for the worst.

Today we're looking at all kinds of funny fails that may have been avoidable with a little foresight — but hey, hindsight is even better!

1. Could just be a very specific lotion.

I mean, if you've got a burn on your bum, look no further, right? Other than that, I really, really don't want to know what you're using that for. That's your business, partner.

2. No one thought to check those sliding windows, huh?

Well, if you wanted that baby's pic to look like someone messed up a panorama shot, then great job. But I find myself making a pretty similar face when I look at this.

3. "You want a reference shot for this Winnie The Pooh ride?" Nah, I'm good.

You know, they could've worked on that face a bit more. Like, at least give him white eyes or something. His claws are so weirdly detailed!

4. What is this? A Nightmare Before XXXmas?

I know it's hard to keep up with all our cool, sexy lingo these days, but come on! That title is reserved for only the slickest pimps out there — like Shrek, or that guy who got hit by Ashton Kutcher's car.

That's right, Angela from The Office called out her nephew for using her in his Tinder profile. Sorry, man, looks like you'll need a new strategy.

6. Not exactly on-theme here, is it?

There's a time and a place for a wacky waving inflatable arm-flailing tube man, and a funeral just isn't one of 'em, friends!

7. Yeah, I'm sure those wires are pretty sturdy.

I mean, they'd have to be, considering there's no one really holding the bottom of that ladder or anything! At least one person is ready to catch this person, lol.

Socks are not your friend when it comes to these things — neither is alcohol! Be careful when trudging down this death trap!

9. Wow, grocery store, okay. You didn't have to tell it like it is!

Instagram | @sadfolks

Definitely not the most encouraging trip to the store you'll make. Sure, I put insulting signs around my house, but that's my private property! Those signs are there for guests I don't like.

Yep, things are definitely getting hairy at Walmart these days. In this case, I'd probably avoid the toothbrush aisle as well, if I were you.

12. Yeah, overconfidence will get ya every time.

Luckily, like many millennials, I have a severe lack of confidence — so that problem won't affect me too much ?

You'll never feel more desperate than tonguing out droplets of water from a frozen bottle.

14. Don't! Just... Just don't!

I'm pretty sure people are out here posting things like this to get reactions from us — but it's working! I'm also sure there are people out there crazy enough to eat like this.

15. Well, at least you'll always know when it's occupied.

Reddit | seatmanSAP

The person using it, however, might want a shred of privacy — I know I would. I'm not just gonna wave to passersby hoping for words of encouragement.

16. Well, maybe they decided to add a parents' section.

Instagram | @sadfolks

I know some parents will pop bottles and celebrate their kids going back to school — others might need it when they're trying to help with math homework. Like, "imaginary numbers"? What the hell is that?!?!
