Everyone's A Winner With This Halloween Costume Award

Diply 16 Oct 2018

The Oscars. The Emmys. The Tonys. Sure, there are some big awards out there. But let's be real — odds are, you probably aren't gonna win one of those.

But having the best Halloween costume? Now that's something that's totally obtainable. What's more, you can have the perfect award waiting in the wings for when you win Best Costume of the evening.

Or you could be a good host and give it to someone else. Either way, everyone wins.

Gather up your materials, and let's thank the Academy!

Place the wooden dowel in the glue and let it dry. Make sure the dowel is longer than the bottom of the skeleton’s feet so that it'll attach at the base.

Make sure to cover your workspace with newspaper or garbage bags so that you don't get gold paint everywhere. Set aside your skeleton statue to dry once it's all spray painted.
