DIY projects sometimes get a bad rap. After you've bought all the materials and spent hours on the project that by the time you're finally finished, you might as well have just bought the thing from the store.

I am 100% guilty of that.

But these DIY projects are actually so easy and so cheap that by doing them yourself, you'll actually SAVE money. Nothing feels better than that.
