Diply 14 Sep 2018

I know when a lot of people hear the term "hack" they think of a solution to a common problem. Personally, I refer to those tips and tricks as lifehacks, because I think the word "hack" on its own can mean so much more.

For me, a hack can be a solution to a problem, but it can also be a creative tip for things related crafts and DIY. And if you happen to agree with me, you'll appreciate the batch of Halloween-related hacks I've put together below!

1. DIY Bleeding Candles

You can turn any ordinary candle into a gruesome accessory using nothing more than a lighter and some red crayons. Now, obviously a project like this is going to get messy, so be sure to work on a surface that can stand up to hot wax.

I did something very similar to this a few years ago.

However, instead of candles, I melted crayons all over a bunch of mini pumpkins!

Tossing a tray of regular ice cubes into a punch bowl is easy enough, but where's the fun in that? A decision like that can seriously kill the Halloween vibe everyone expects this time of year.

So, instead of filling a standard ice cube tray with water for your next get-together, why not take a page out of The Krazy Coupon Lady's book and use a latex glove?

By doing that, you'll end up with a chunk of ice shaped like a hand, which would look amazing in a blood-red bowl of Halloween punch.
