There's nothing like a classic. That goes for everything: music, movies, and of course, desserts. Something about these old favorites, from black and white movies to a cinnamon roll, gives us a magical, nostalgic feeling that we can't seem to shake.

Well, we decided to take a classic and reinvent it. Put a modern spin on things, ya know? But, how do we change and improve an understated classic like a cinnamon roll? Make it a giant cake, for starters. Classics might be simple and understated, but this cinnamon roll cake is anything but.

You'll thank us later.

This is the base for the fluffy cake. Don't eat it all now (even if you might want to). K?

Beat it all until smooth, and transfer to a piping bag with a round tip. Set aside.

Don't have a piping bag? Don't sweat it, just use a Ziploc bag and cut a corner instead. #BakingHack

We recommend a nine inch pan. Finally, we're getting to the best part here: the cinnamon filling!

Um, talk about magic! This swirl will bake into the cake and give it that classic cinnamon roll feel. Like, how amazing does this look? Not gonna lie, my mouth is watering

Bake for about 50–60 minutes. Test with a toothpick before removing from the oven.

For the glaze, combine the powdered sugar, softened cream cheese, remaining milk, and vanilla in a separate bowl. Stir until smooth!

This is going to make our delectable glaze...again, don't eat it all now! I almost did, oops!

Pour the glaze over while the cake is warm, but not piping hot.
