12+ Celebrities On Some A+ Halloween Costume Game

Diply 30 Oct 2018

I dunno about y'all, but Halloween might be my favorite time of year. So when I see people who go all-in on their costumes, I get pretty excited. The more dramatic they are, the more excited I get.

And let's be honest — who's more dramatic than celebrities?

1. Zoë Kravitz as a "just woke up" vampire.

I can't believe that I've never seen this idea before. It makes perfect sense — your Halloween party is definitely at night, which is vampire morning, and I'm never dressed until noon.

2. Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady as avocado and toast.

Apparently, these two are real healthy-eating types, which I am not. But that doesn't mean that I don't love me some avocado on toast goodness, so well played.

3. Joe Jonas as Sophie Turner's character on Game of Thrones.

I haven't seen the last few seasons of Game of Thrones, but Sansa Stark is a badass.

Also, I am dying to know if the big set of ears there just below Jonas is a mouse or Dumbo the elephant.

4. Halsey as Poison Ivy.

Welp, y'all can go home, Poison Ivy costumes are now over. Halsey won.

Seriously, though, this is a solid costume even by cosplay standards — and there's a lot of Poison Ivy cosplay out there.

5. G-Eazy as Two-Face.

OK, so I have a weakness for Batman villains. Sue me.

But come on, this is great. The double tie? Smart.

The Halloween colors on the suit? A stroke of genius.

I guess with the yellow and black, Batman is already sort of Halloween-colored.

Maybe next year I'll do the Adam West version of Batman with an exploding shark on my leg.

6. Tracee Ellis Ross as Nakia from Black Panther.

Man, her hair is intense. I mean, I'm bald anyway, but even if I still had my flowing locks, I would never have the patience for that.

7. Scott Rogowsky as Michael Scott...Rogowsky.

Y'all play HQ? Did you go through the same process of "ugh, I hate Scott," to "hey, I kinda like Scott," to "Scotty Boy!" that I did?

8. Kendall Jenner as one of Austin Powers' Fembots.

Wow. She really is a dead ringer for one of those nefarious androids.

But if she's an evil robot now, who's gonna save the world with Pepsi?

OK, maybe I won't go as Batman after all. Austin Powers it is.

But it absolutely has to be Austin from this scene, so all I need are the underoos and a wig.

9. Camila Mendes and Lili Reinhart as Pedro and Napoleon.

I think what's really making this work for me is the 100% accurate expression on Napoleon's face.

*points at butterfly* Is this method acting?

10. Joey Fatone and Izabel Araujo as the little girls from The Shining.

Best couple's costume I've seen in a long time. Also, it would've been awesome if one of the girls from the movie had actually been rocking a beard.

11. Olivia Munn as Peik Lin from Crazy Rich Asians.

Sure, sure. I believe you, Olivia. Let's all pretend that you didn't just want an excuse for a Hello Kitty vest.

12. Nina Dobrev as the actual movie A Star Is Born.

I'm a big fan of tongue-in-cheek costumes that are too a bit clever for their own good. It's sorta my brand.

13. However, I can't deny that Lady Gaga knows costumes better than...almost anyone, probably?

Instagram | @ladygaga

This Edward Scissorhands is so on point that I have to wonder how sharp those fingers are.

Load Comments

Trust Gaga to go all-out on something like this. The woman is a gift.

Huh.Halloween might be the night of the year where we all get to pretend we're Lady Gaga no matter what costume we're wearing.
