Carrie Fisher's Daughter Just Posted A Tribute That'll Make You Cry Actual Tears

Nearly a year ago today, actress Carrie Fisher passed away at the age of 60.

In honor of her mother, Billie Lourd posted a heartwarming photo recognizing the one-year anniversary of her passing.

Billie starred alongside Carrie Fisher in her mother's final screen appearance.

In Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Billie plays a Resistance aide, Lieutenant Connix, alongside Carrie as her most famous character, Princess Leia.

The movie was officially dedicated to Carrie.

They spell out "She drowned in the moonlight, strangled by her own bra," which is exactly what Carrie had requested to be put in her obituary.

"My momby had an otherworldly obsession with the northern lights, but I never got to see them with her," continued Billie in the caption.

Billie decided to travel to Norway with a few close friends.

"We journeyed to northern Norway to see if we might 'see the heavens lift up her dark skirts and flash her dazzling privates across [our] unworthy irises,'" said Billie.

"And she did. I love you times infinity. ???" she added.
