Why is it that celebrities will take such extremes to ensure they stay young forever?

The beauty industry makes millions of dollars each and every year playing to our insecurities. But celebrities take beauty to a whole new level of extra that, quite frankly, I aspire to be.

With tons of cash and time to try new routines (that may not even work) on their hands, here are some of the most bizarre beauty treatments celebrities have explored.

1. Kate Hudson and the ice facial

When Kate’s skin is looking dull and tired, she swears by sticking her face into an ice bath and holding it for as long as possible. She mentioned that she actually got the tip from a makeup artist she was working with. The ratio is more ice and less water, and it's supposed to quickly rejuvenate the skin.

All our lives, we've heard to stay far away from leeches. But Demi Moore is actually embracing them! Apparently, their detoxifying benefits have been working wonders on her skin.
