Guys, it finally happened.

Ever since the animated classic was released in 1997, fans have had to deal with people confusing Anastasia for a Disney princess.

It was a weird point of tension for hardcore Anastasia fans like me, but now that's all over because Disney just purchased 20th Century Fox film and TV studios, which includes our precious Anastasia

While we don't know for sure if our favorite Russian princess is actually an official Disney princess now, the news was enough to make fans completely lose their minds.

Guys, Anastasia is a really good movie.

Meg Ryan and Jon Cusack were perfect as Anastasia and Dimitri, but the entire cast was seriously stacked. Rasputin was highkey the scariest animated villain of my childhood.

Does this mean we could potential get a live-action Anastasia movie in the future?

Can you imagine? I'm honestly so down to revisit this story in any way, shape or form, but live-action would be amazing.

Anastasia is the tough and hilarious princess that we deserve, and she knows how to rock a baggy jacket like no one else.

Also, we should note that all of the music in Anastasia slaps hard.

"Journey To The Past" is a jam, and "Once Upon A December" will literally break your heart into a million pieces. I bet the Anastasia soundtrack has haunted Disney ever since they first heard it in 1997.

Forget that this also means that Disney now owns Deadpool and the X-Men — Anastasia is the real news here.

Disney had better not squander this opportunity because I need more Anastasia in my life.
