When Does This Whole 'Adult' Thing Get Easier?

I remember being so excited to grow up. I thought it meant that I could eat whatever I want, go to bed whenever, and do the things my parents always said no to.

I was sort of right. Except that when these things are happening, life also decides to throw you the equivalent of a tornado warning. It’s not as cool as I thought it would be.

Seriously. This is perfect. I just wish it was OK to knock things down when I felt like it with minimal consequences. Belly rubs and treats wouldn’t be bad either

It's probably a good thing that I don't have a baby. It seems I am stuck at the point of my life where I destroy everything I touch. Except for my cats, thank goodness.

The older I get, the more my body snaps and cracks in places that I didn’t even know it could. There is also nothing more exciting than plans getting canceled. Thank you, social life gods.

I remember in math class, a teacher kept restating how important it was that we knew the Pythagorean theorem. I honestly don’t even remember what I was supposed to know, or why it was so important. Taxes are math too, and would have been a lot more useful to learn about!
