Sources say that Hollywood's leading ladies will be standing up to sexual assault at the upcoming 2018 Golden Globes by dressing in all black.
No specific actresses have been confirmed; however, several of the nominees, like Meryl Streep and Jessica Chastain, have been incredibly vocal following the sexual assault allegations against men in their industry, so we won't be surprised if they show up on the red carpet in all-black outfits.
Since the allegations against Harvey Weinstein were revealed, many women have expressed their support for those who came forward. Meryl Streep said, "The intrepid women who raised their voices to expose this abuse are our heroes."
Since the light has been cast on this dark side of Hollywood, women have come together, and the decision to dress in solidarity is another symbolic way they are sending the message that sexual assault will no longer be tolerated in their industry.
The Golden Globes won't be the only awards show where women will stand together. The SAG Awards will have exclusively female presenters, with Kristen Bell as the host.
We can't wait to watch the Golden Globes and SAG Awards and see the power that comes from all of these inspiring women.
