There’s nothing more embarrassing than showing up to an event in the same outfit as someone else. It’s probably made a little worse if that other person in the same outfit is a 19 year old girl if you’re a 45 year old man, but that didn’t seem to bother Ryan Seacrest too much on Instagram this week!
Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest have a great relationship.
The two hosts of Live With Kelly And Ryan are pretty much always cracking each other up and gently teasing each other when they get the opportunity on their show, so it makes sense that that camaraderie carries over to the social media world too.
Ryan recently shared this selfie to his Instagram page.
“Fall came early and so did this sweater,” Ryan wrote , showing off a lovely multicolored blue, purple, and white sweater in a tie-dye pattern.
One person in the comments noted that the sweater looked really familiar, if she did say so herself.
Kelly pointed out that her 19-year-old daughter Lola had just ordered the same sweater.
“I was gonna say, I’d really like that sweater for myself!” one fan replied to Kelly’s comment, while another wrote, “There should be a segment on ‘who wore it best?’ Ssshh… I’m thinking Lola as an early prediction.”
Ryan wasn’t too bothered by the statement.
“This must mean I’m on trend,” Ryan joked back.
“Or its a ladies sweater…” one fan teased back, but it’s clear that this was all in good fun for the talk show hosts.
Besides, the sweater will probably look great on both of them, so everyone’s a winner here!
