In recent years, the improved sophistication of tech we’ve experienced in our phones has made taking a decent photo a lot easier. And one of the most popular examples of these upgrades have concerned how much easier it is to take panoramic photos lately.
When we’re surrounded by beautiful scenery, this kind of shot is basically the only way to do it justice, but they get a little more complicated when our friends end up in the shot.

Sure, it’s possible to tell other humans to stand still so they don’t end up looking like one of Picasso’s fever dreams, but animals aren’t usually known for taking that kind of direction well.
And so, that’s how we get some bizarrely captivating shots like these.
It’s no surprise that this dog looks worried. I can’t imagine most of us taking this situation well.
Even if we could get over the psychological horror of waking up to find a second head growing out of our ears, the balancing issues alone would make life a lot more difficult.
It looks like this cat just found a new way to express sadness and anger at the same time.
Of course, that’s probably an appropriate reaction to realizing someone just took a photo where it looks like half of your face is melting.
Panoramic animal shots can go wrong in a lot of ways, but this is one of the more common ones.
As you can see, when they squish the image of a dog together, these furry friends either end up as compact dog-lets or wind up with half of themselves suddenly missing.
Most of this photo turned out surprisingly well, but one cow was apparently feeling more energetic than the others.
And now, it somehow has to get around on one incredibly skinny leg. It’s doing a better job than we might expect, though.
If a panoramic shot doesn’t squish a dog together, it could suddenly make it a lot longer.
And in this case, it was apparently decided that so much extra dog needed a whole lot of extra legs. So now we have a dog-ipede.
It’s obviously kind of hard to tell, but it looks like this is all supposed to be one dog.
Or rather, it was. Now we’ve got one dog who seems very nervous about suddenly glitching into a sausage and one that seems commendably happy about having two heads.
It’s hard to get tired of seeing glitched-out cats and dogs, but some photographers felt the need to get a little more exotic.
And so, we now have the pleasure of seeing a giraffe with a neck that nobody will ever beat in a million years.
It’s always puzzling when a panoramic shot completely transforms one animal while leaving the other one more or less unaffected.
At worst, the one on the left looks a little tired, but it somehow ended up standing next to the dog with no face.
It’s hard to even describe what happened to this dog, but considering what was duplicated, it seems happy enough.
I’m not sure if having two tails is a good or a bad thing, but having a fleshy lump that looks like another head stick out of your side is generally…inconvenient.
It’s hard to tell what’s less desirable: Not being able to describe what happened or being able to describe it a little too well.
This photo seems to show us in great detail what a dog would actually look like if it had two tails and I’m not sure what to do with that information.
If it weren’t for all the clear visual glitching, it would be hard not to think we discovered a whole new animal here.
I guess if there’s anything that came from this, it’s that we now have a visual representation for what growing pains feel like.
Compared to the furry slinky down there, the guy barbecuing got through this panorama pretty unscathed.
Sure, he’s got an extra piece of elbow now, but at least it won’t take every burger on that grill to feed him.
Considering how temperamental roosters can be, giving it even more pecking power doesn’t seem like a good idea.
Although, maybe a two-headed rooster will get into so many arguments on its own that the rest of us don’t have to worry.
Most of the warped dogs are at least recognizable as dogs, but how many of you would’ve guessed it if I hadn’t already told you what this is?
This one was definitely getting a lot of enjoyment from that piece of wood since it moved around so much that’s it’s transformed into a giant, particularly hairy rat.
A dog with a duck body is certainly unusual, but it’s much less disturbing than what’s happening next to it.
Never mind how it’s even still walking, how are we supposed to scratch behind its ears if it doesn’t have a head?
It’s hard to tell how this dog feels about suddenly being so long, but its buddy definitely seems excited about it.
It seems that dog will have to get used to the extra attention that comes from having 10 times the floof.
Well, that’s unfortunate. At least other dogs in this predicament had all their legs going the same way.
Granted, this means that nobody will be able to knock it over now, but I can’t imagine it’ll have an easy time getting anywhere.
If the photo had removed any more than this, this poor pup would just be a floating head.
Granted, the little one is taking having just one leg and a tail to work with like a champ.
I’m not sure how Maya moved to make this happen, but there’s definitely never been a dog quite like her.
So far, the panoramic shots have mostly made these animals look otherworldly, but Maya just looks like came straight out of a low-budget animated movie with really bad CGI.
This dog must have really wanted those bananas to end up with such a massive case of aardvark-face.
I have the feeling that within a few years, we’ll see a painting of this dog hanging in a gallery because it has all the makings of a modern art masterpiece.
