I always have a few of those. But after some time, I find that the suction cups don’t work anymore, and guess what? Then the darn holder won’t stay up.

It is — petroleum jelly. Aha! I think she is on to something. Okay, so what do I do with this information now? How do I proceed?
All you need to do is rub some petroleum jelly on the back of the suction cups.
And as you guessed it, it acts as an adhesive. So your sponge holder won’t fall off anymore. Isn’t it such a genius idea?
Of course, as you can imagine, once people saw this video, they flipped out!
Why? Because as it turns out, this happens to a lot of us. And we had no idea this Vaseline hack even existed.
Some folks even resorted to some rather unusual fixes for this problem.
