Navarone Shares His Fentanyl Addiction And Recovery Story
The 35-year-old Them Guns footman talked about his struggle with drugs. The son of Marco Garibaldi said his drug problem started when he was a teenager. He told People that his drug of choice at that time was heroin. He admitted that he used to do it once every three months or if it was available.

The musician then explained his transition into fentanyl. He shared that at that time, he was unknowingly doing fentanyl which he thought was heroin. “That was a when different beast.” Navarone shared that he quickly became addicted to it and needed it every 45 minutes. He was afraid he would have zero tolerance if forced to quit when he was not ready. However, he later got to the point where he was ready to quit.

In 2020, Navarone got the push he needed to detox from fentanyl. At that time, he wanted to visit his then-girlfriend who is now his wife, Elisa in Switzerland. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he wanted to spend three or four days with her. The musician explained he did not want to carry fentanyl everywhere he went.
His Mother Played A Huge Role
Then he decided to go to his mother, Priscilla’s home for a month of withdrawal. Navarone shared he was in a fetal position all day. However, when he felt well enough, he spent time in the steam room. He shared that the period was almost like a different lifetime.
Garibaldi Recently Penned A Tribute To Lisa Marie Presley
Navarone penned a heartfelt tribute to his late step-sister, Lisa Marie Presley, a day after her death. He took to his Instagram on January 12th with the tribute. Addressing Lisa Marie as “big sister”, the musician hoped she was at peace. He also hoped she was happy with her son, Benjamin Keough, and dad, Elvis Presley, at her side.
Lisa Marie Was 19 Years His Senior
Navarone continued that he knew Lisa Marie’s previous years were not easy. The Them Guns footman also wrote he wished things were different between them. The 35-year-old ended the tribute with “Love you sis.” Along with the heartfelt tribute was a picture of Navarone as a baby and Lisa Marie in her teen. Lisa Marie was 19 years older than Navarone.
