Women are great at multitasking. After all, we do so many things like taking care of the kids, running the household, buying groceries, and so on all while keeping a job as well.
So it’s no wonder many of us have come up with useful #LifeHacks that help us get through the day. Therefore, I thought it would be awesome to share some of these tips and tricks with my fellow ladies. You’re welcome.
This Useful Idea

“Keep a backup purse or toiletries bag in your car dash filled with basics eg. deodorant, perfume, basic makeup, glasses cleaner (if you’re blind like me), mini toothbrush and toothpaste, mini brush, some cash, etc. It’s saved my butt on numerous occasions such as impromptu meetings, having to stay over at a family member’s house, dates you may need to rush to, etc.”
That’s such a great idea, huh?
This Cleaning Hack

“Vinegar and water can also be used to clean microwaves! One part vinegar to two parts water, microwave it for like 30 seconds and it should help dislodge anything stuck to the walls of the microwave. You may need to leave it open to air out for a bit after though, especially the first time since the vinegar smell can linger a bit.”
Right? I love using vinegar to clean the house.
This Shaving Can Tip

“For those who use a shaving gel that comes in aluminum cans: before you put it in the shower, use clear nail polish to make a thin coat all along the bottom rim of the can. This will prevent the can from rusting at the bottom/leaving those rust-colored rings.”
Wow! I didn’t know that.
And This Shaving Tip

“Even better: stop buying shaving products and use cheap conditioner instead! It’s a closer shave somehow, and also moisturizes your skin.”
You can also use a moisturizing bar of soap like goat milk. I’ve done that, too, and it never bothered my sensitive skin.
This Product Saver Tip

“When you can’t squeeze any more product out of a tube container (hand cream, moisturizer, body lotion, etc.), cut it in half using scissors.”
Oh yes, I do that all the time. I get a huge knife from the kitchen and I cut that baby up. You wouldn’t realize how much more product you can still get out of the container with this technique.
This Cooking Hack

“Clean as you cook. Also, keep a ‘garbage’ bowl when you cook to dump odds and ends when you cook so you are not running back and forth from the garbage can or leaving them lying around the counter space.”
I totally do that, too. I can’t stand to have a pile of dishes after I finish dinner. And thankfully, our garbage is in such a convenient location I don’t have to run back and forth.
This Work-From-Home Tip

“If you’re unemployed/working from home/studying, get dressed and showered. It helps with your mindset and productivity a lot, in my experience.”
This is true. You need to feel motivated even though you work from home. I have a daily routine that I follow, and it has worked out well for me so far.
Learn To Say ‘No’

“’No.’ Is a complete sentence! When my employer asks me to put in the time I don’t want to, [I say] ‘I’m so sorry, but I will not be able to be available at that time’. It’s the ‘corporately, acceptable’ way to say no.'”
This might be hard to do at first, but you’ll get the hang of it.
This Car Tip

“I keep an emergency outfit in the car too. It’s saved me a few times.”
That’s a great idea, huh? I mean, it can come in handy on many different occasions. For example, what if you spill something on yourself? Now you have something to change into.
Use The Cup

“Diva cups. I save so much money, and haven’t had a yeast infection since.”
Okay, I know you might be thinking TMI but this is definitely some important info ladies need to hear. We’ve got to help each other out, huh?
This Sound Advice

“Always pee after sex.”
Speaking of intimate things, I say “Amen” to that. If you don’t do that, you can risk getting a bladder infection, and I can tell you from experience it isn’t fun. In fact, it can be extremely painful, and you will need antibiotics STAT!
This Great Idea

“Have all your body measurements written in your smartphone “Notes” app. This way, when you go online shopping, you can always check the brand’s size charts, especially regarding shoes, and increase your chances of picking the right size. Don’t forget to take fit into consideration – standard, oversize, slim, petite, tall.”
I have this near my computer for online shopping but I need to write it down on my phone, too.
Treat Yourself

“Budget for pedicures, massages, hair cuts, waxing. If it’s self-care, budget for it. Taking care of yourself goes so far.”
I totally agree with this. Last year, I didn’t do much of this, but this year I’m taking self-care up a notch. It’s so important, ladies.
This Shoe Tip

“Start wearing wide-toe shoes. I worked at an upscale shoe store before. The amount of bunions I’ve seen is astounding. Definitely wear supportive shoes with a good toe box.”
I totally attest to that. I find that I prefer to wear wide shoes because the narrow ones make my toes hurt.
This Love Advice

“Never be afraid that you might not find a better person, that’s why you settle for less. You always deserve better, and most, peace of mind.”
Ladies, this is so important. You will do yourself a disservice if you settle for less than you deserve.
This Good Tip

“Have a chapstick and tampon in most locations you frequent. For example, room, office, car, etc.”
Oh yes! I have chapstick in my purse and on my nightstand. I also always make sure I have face tissues in every room of my house.
Buy Men’s Razors

“They’re more cost-effective and they work better.”
I definitely second that. It’s so annoying that women’s razors are twice as expensive as men’s, and they don’t even work as well. So do yourself a favor and start buying the ones for men.
This Bra Trick

“I sew my adjustable bra straps in place at the right size. No more straps always pulling looser and slipping off my shoulders.”
Wow! I never thought of that. That’s such a neat idea, huh? I can’t stand when my bra straps fall.
So, ladies, I hope you found these tips helpful.
