In this case, people don’t like that Kylie is considered “self-made”, but she’s here to defend herself.

And because the Kardashian/Jenners are never without drama — people weren’t happy about this statement.
It was the “self-made” claim that had a lot of people seriously angry.
It didn’t seem fair to say that Kylie was “self-made” when she had a huge platform to help her business, Kylie Cosmetics, truly thrive.
Kylie is here to clear a thing or two up.
In an interview with Paper , Kylie is asked about being “self-made”.
She fully owned up to how being a member of the Kardashian family, automatically gave her certain privileges.
“I had such a huge platform, I had so many followers already and I had so many people watching me,” she explained.
Yet she still stands by the fact that she is self-made.
She revealed that when she was just 15-years-old, her parents cut her off financially, and she hasn’t received a single cent from them since then.
They told her that she had to “start making her own way,” and I guess that’s exactly what she did.
“What I’m trying to say is I did have a platform, but none of my money is inherited,” she added.
And while it might be true that she didn’t receive any financial support from them, people still aren’t impressed.
I think most people probably wish that she had to start off by flipping burgers like the rest of us to make a living.
At the end of the day, we’re sure that she’s not bothered by what people think.
She still has the title of “self-made billionaire”, and I still pick pennies up in parking lots.
