Jenelle Evans and David Eason's relationship has been under heavy scrutiny this year since the highly publicized death of their dog, Nugget.
She shared this image with the caption, "Nugget... I’m crying everyday. I love you so much and I’m so sorry. I’m speechless. You were my side kick and knew the moment I felt bad and would cuddle with me. You still had a lot to learn and a lot to grow from your lessons. Everyday I wake up you’re not here, when I come home you’re not here, when I go to bed... you’re not here. You’re gone forever and there’s no coming back."
In a now-deleted Instagram post that showed the alleged bite mark on their daughter Ensley's face, David wrote, "I dont give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face. Whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I dont put up with that [expletive] at all."
Despite temporarily losing custody over their children due to an animal abuse charge and briefly being investigated, the couple seemed stronger than ever after the incident.
Jenelle told TMZ, "Nobody gets into a marriage expecting it to end but I know that's what is best for me, and for my kids. Today I've filed papers to start that process."
"I appreciate the support from everybody who has asked how I am. me and the kids are doing great. We need some time to be together. But you'll hear from us again soon."
Jenelle and David had been married for two years, and dated for two years before that.
