'Lucifer' Is Getting A '40s-Themed Musical Episode

Hm, well... is this something you've been asking for, Lucifer fans? Or is this going to be like the time Grey's Anatomy did a musical episode?

I.E.: A total waste of time.

There have been some pretty weird musical episodes in the past.

Netflix

I've already mentioned the Grey's Anatomy episode, but did you know that The Walking Dead is also getting a musical episode?

Well, it seems that Lucifer is going to be joining the ranks of "Musical Episodes Nobody Asked For".

Here's what's buzzing.

Netflix

Wonder why I'm talking like I'm in the '40s? Because that's where this episode is going to be set, in the '40s, with alternate versions of the show's characters.

Interesting.

It's going to be in black and white, and will feature Lucifer and Mazikeen singing together.

Netflix

Tom Ellis said about the episode:

"I can't tease too much! I would say on this episode, we take a trip down memory lane with Lucifer. We tell a story that answers the question a lot of fans have been asking actually."

You have to wonder why they do this...

Netflix

If I was a cynical person (me? Never) I would say it's because either A) the writers wanted the week off or B) the actors want to show off their fancy singing lessons.
