Actress Felicity Huffman had turned herself into Federal Correction Institution in Dublin, California on October 15th to begin serving her 14 day sentence.
Huffman had pled guilty to paying a $15k bribe to improve her daughter's SAT score to improve her chances to get into college and was sentenced on September 13th.
However, the judge felt she had shown near immediate acceptance of responsibility for her actions and that the crime had low impact on others outside the situation.
This early release has prompted some fans to make jokes, with one writing, "Her prison sentence was so short that she didn't even miss one Notre Dame football game."
However, she's not completely done. After completion of her time served, Huffman will have a year of supervised release and 250 hours of community service to complete as well.
